Part 33

We drive for a long time as pope directs which way John b was supposed to go. We finally see some twin ahead and a sign on the side of the road.
"Look at that" jj says as John b pulls up to the sign
"What does that sign say?" John b asks
"Here it is. Agapenta." Pope says
"I'll be damned." I mumble
"It's that way. Keep going" pope says sitting back down

"All right it's just up ahead. We gotta do the rest on foot" John b says as he stops the car
"Careful we don't know what we're walking into" John b tells us as we start walking

As we start walking I hear a gun shot and then I hear Rafe yell. We all look at each other before we start jogging over there and hide behind the bushes. We look over to see Rafe has the lens and map, but he's basically held at gun point with the exact people we don't want to have the map.
"Damn it damn it" John b mumbles
"I know I know I know." Jj mumbles
We watch as Rafe starts to put down the map and lens.
"Shit. They're gonna kill him" cleo says
"Do we care?" Pope asks
"Yeah that's a good question pope" jj says
"Yeah but then they'd take the scroll." Cleo says
"There are seven of them. They all have rifles." John b says
"I know. That's why we're gonna need to think outside the box." Jj says pulling out a gun
"What are you doing?" John b asks
"Diversion" jj says
"Dude you can't be serious. This isn't call of duty." John b tells him
"We got four rounds seven of them." Jj says and I look over at Rafe again
"Four rounds?" Kie asks
"Yes. We're gonna go hit them heavy and then we take their vehicle" jj says

I look at Rafe again then grab the gun from the back on jj.
"What are you doing? Whoa hey" jj says as I hold the gun up
"Stella" kie mumbles
"That's my brother" I say then take the shot making one of their vehicles explode.
"Huh" I mumble happy that worked
"Nice shooting Tex" John b mumbles

"Run" kie says as they start to shoot after Rafe who was running away.
"Yeah. Run. I can't believe it. Let's alert them to our location. That's a great idea" pope says as we all run
"Oh shut up pope and run!" I yell

We all quickly run through the walls, trying to get out of there before they found us.
"Come on! We gotta get to high ground" jj says as we all sprint. I look back and jj had tripped so I quickly turn around to help him up
"Come on come on" I mumble as we start to run again
"I'm coming im coming" he mumbles
We look ahead to see a door and better yet we see Rafe run through it, but he starts to close it.
"Hey hey hey!" We all yell
"Jj Stella come on!" Pope and John b yell as we were the last to run through

We quickly run through and jj turns around to help pope close the door, but once we do we see the guys holding there guns right there
"Oh shit" jj mumbles as they close the door
"We gotta move. Come on. Follow me follow me" kie yells leading the group

We all start to run and come to a quick stop when sheep were everywhere.
"Oh shit. What the hell" I mumble as I try to run getting them to move out of the way
Everyone gets through and we quickly put stuff in front of the door to slow them down.

"Guys come on!" Jj yells as we all run up
"Give me that" cleo tells jj talking about the gun
"Just keep going" jj says but you could tell he was in pain
"Give me the gun!" Cleo tells him
"What?" Jj asks
"Give me the gun!" Cleo says again
"What no there's only three shots left" jj tells her
"Jj you're hurt." Cleo says
"No no we should stick together" jj tells her as we all stop running and look at them
"Just go! Go guys!" Cleo yells at us and we start running again

"Hey hey hey hey. Rafe stop! Rafe Rafe stop! Just relax for one second! We don't know where we're going all right?" John b yells getting Rafe to stop running
"Give me the scroll. Just give me the scroll." John b says as we all surrounded Rafe
"You want this?" Rafe asks holding a knife up against John b
"Wait!" Jj yells
"Give me the scroll" John b says again
"It's ours." I tell him and he turns to me holding the knife making me take a sharpe breath in
"It was. I took the shit. I bought it for 400k actually ok?" Rafe says

"Rafe I just saved your life" I tell him
"No no no no no no no. You did it so you could steal it from me. There was something in it for you. All right? Not to actually help me. I know that." Rafe tells me
"Rafe we don't have time" John b says
"We can read that. You can't." I tell him

"Why would I help you? Huh? I don't trust you. I don't trust any of you, do you understand? Dad trusted you. You remember what happened to him?! Do you remember?!" Rafe yells
"Dad died saving my life!" I yell grabbing his hand with the knife
"And you're so eager to blame me for everything you won't even listen to what happened. Singhs men had me at gunpoint. I was gonna die. Dad took those bullets for me. And if he was still around, he'd want us to work together. I know you know that." I tell him with tears in my eyes and I see some form in his eyes
"No you're just going to screw me like everyone else in my life. I know you will" he says
"No no because I'm all you've got. And you're my brother." I tell him
"She's telling the truth" John b whispers

Rafe and I just stare at each other for a while as I try not to cry.
"All right. If we uh if we work together I still get my cut? So" Rafe says trying to not cry
"Yeah" I nod
"I get my cut?" He says
"Yeah" John b nods and Rafe holds the scroll out to me

I look at the scroll then back at him. Then I just give him a hug. Tears were flowing out of my eyes. I had my brother back, after all that happened, after everything I got my brother back.

"Um guys?" Kie says
"Um hey this is great and all but we seriously gotta go" jj says and I break the hug and nod
"Yall keep going. Try to find the crown. Ok well stay back and hold them off" kie tells us
"Come on Star" John b says as Rafe John b and I all start running again
