After a good team win last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders (and more specifically Spiro Goulakos) take the ice at Gutterson Fieldhouse for a Friday night game against the Vermont Catamounts. With 8:34 left in the first period, Connor Brickley scored to make it 1-0 Catamounts. Alex Evin and Rob Madore matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Vermont leads 1-0 heading to the second period. With 18:50 left in the second period, Chris Wagner scored his fourth goal of the season, short handed to tie the game 1-1. With 35 seconds left in the second period, Joe Wilson scored his third goal of the season to make it 2-1 Raiders. Evin and Madore matched zeros for the remainder of the period so the Hamiltonians lead 2-1 heading to the third period. With 13:54 left in the third period, Matt Firman scored his second goal of the season to make it 3-1 Colgate. With 1:26 left in the third period, Matt Firman scored his third goal of the season to make it 4-1 Raiders! Alex Evin finished off the Catamounts and Colgate wins 4-1! Colgate improved to 9-4-1 on the season!
