After Charlie Finn got lit up like a Christmas tree last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders return to Starr Rink to play the St. Cloud State Huskies who are the number ten team in the country at the moment. With 7:45 left in the first period, Cory Thorson scored to make it 1-0 St. Cloud State. Eric Mihalik and Ryan Faragher matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-0 in favor of the tenth ranked Huskies heading to the second period. With 16:50 left in the second period, Ryan Papa scored to make it 2-0 Huskies. With 40 seconds left in the second period, Kyle Baun scored his second goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-1 SCSU. Mihalik and Faragher matched zeros for the remainder of the period so St. Cloud State leads 2-1 heading to the second intermission. With 4:59 left in the third period, Tyson Spink scored his second goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. With 4:14 left in the second period, Nick Oliver scored to make it 3-2 St. Cloud. With 25 seconds left in the third period, Jonny Brodzinski scored scored to make it 4-2 Huskies. Ryan Faragher finished off the Hamiltonians and so; St. Cloud State wins 4-2. Colgate dropped to 2-3-1 on the season.
