After picking up an assist last night, Spiro Goulakos and the rest of the Colgate Raiders return to Starr Rink hoping to sweep Quinnipiac off of the Starr Rink ice but they can only do that with a win tonight. With 15:45 left in the first period, Kellen Jones scored to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. With 13:42 left in the first period, Connor Jones scored to make it 2-0 Bobcats. With 8:29 left in the first period, Chris Wagner scored his fifteenth goal of the season, on a penalty shot to make it 2-1 in favor of Coach Pecknold's Bobcats. Eric Mihalik and Eric Hartzell matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Quinnipiac takes a 2-1 lead into the first intermission. With 6:56 left in the second period, Kurtis Bartliff scored his fourth goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. With 7 seconds left in the second period, Jeremy Langlois scored to make it 3-2 Quinnipiac. Mihalik and Hartzell matched zeros for the remainder of the period so the Bobcats from Quinnipiac lead 3-2 heading to a crucial third period. With 1:28 left in the third period, Scott Zuervinski scored to make it 4-2 in favor of Coach Pecknold's team. Eric Hartzell finished off the Raiders and Quinnipiac survives because of a 4-2 win over Colgate. We will play a winner take all game three tomorrow night.
