Four days after the Christmas holiday, the Colgate Raiders head to the great city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to participate in the Three Rivers Classic as they begin said tournament against the Western Michigan Broncos at CONSOL Energy Center on Monday afternoon. Charlie Finn and Lukas Hafner matched zeros in the first period so no score in the game after one period of play. With 2:38 left in the second period, Spiro Goulakos scored his second goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. Finn and Hafner matched zeros for the remainder of the period so the Raiders lead 1-0 heading to the second intermission. With 9:44 left in the third period, Tim Harrison scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 2-0 Hamiltonians. With 5:30 left in the third period, Aidan Muir scored to make it 2-1 Raiders. Charlie Finn finished off the Broncos and Colgate hangs on and wins 2-1! Colgate improved to 10-6-1 on the season!
