After losing to the defending national champions last night, the Colgate Raiders return to Starr Rink to play the Brown University Bears hoping to play better this evening. With 6:11 left in the first period, Kyle Baun scored his seventh goal of the season, short handed to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 3:45 left in the first period, Joe Prescott scored to tie the game 1-1. With 2:45 left in the first period, Mike Borkowski scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 2-1 Raiders. A man named Finn (Charlie Finn that is) and Marco DeFilippo matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Colgate leads 2-1 heading to the second period. Finn and DeFilippo matched zeros in the second period so 2-1 Colgate is the score showing on the Starr Rink scoreboard after two periods of play. With 63 seconds left in the third period, Darcy Murphy scored his seventh goal of the season to make it 3-1 Raiders! Charlie Finn finished off the Bears and Colgate wins 3-1! Colgate improved to 7-7-1 on the season and 5-3-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
