After a few games didn't go their way, the Colgate Raiders head to Princeton, New Jersey to play the Princeton Tigers in a late season showdown. With 17:48 left in the first period, Tyson Spink scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Raiders. Charlie Finn and Colton Phinney matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Colgate clings to an 1-0 lead after one period of play. With 10:43 left in the second period, Jack Berger scored to tie the game 1-1. With 9:12 left in the second period, Tyson Spink scored his seventh goal of the season, his second goal of the night to make it 2-1 maroon and white. Finn and Phinney matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Colgate leads 2-1 heading to the third period. With 18:50 left in the third period, Mike Borkowski scored his eighth goal of the season to make it 3-1 Raiders. With 16:21 left in the third period, Tyson Spink scored his eighth goal of the season, his third goal of the night, a hat trick to make it 4-1 Hamiltonians. With 13:46 left in the third period, Ryan Johnston scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 5-1 Colgate. Princeton Coach Bob Prier pulled Colton Phinney out of the net and so, Ryan Benitez filled in for the remainder of the game. With 5:54 left in the third period, Joe Wilson scored his sixth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 6-1 Raiders! Charlie Finn finished off another masterful performance and Colgate wins as a result 6-1! Colgate improved to 15-11-5 on the season and 11-5-3 in ECAC Hockey play!
