If you made it this far, congratulations, the book is over and you're being thanked immensely for reading my book. Thank you for reading the longest story I've ever written as we just explored the career and legacy of Spiro Goulakos. As I rambled off a couple of chapters back, Spiro Goulakos should be immortalized in Colgate hockey lore as one of the greatest captains in recent times because and especially for the reason that he leads Colgate to three ECAC hockey championship weekend appearances in four seasons. That is extremely difficult to do at Colgate and people should realize that nothing is given in college hockey.
But uhh, I guess you're probably wondering what's next for Spiro Goulakos. Well my dear reader, he'll play hockey for many years after his graduation from Colgate University. Spiro signed with the Rochester Americans and had a pretty good career in the American Hockey League after he departed for western New York. Spiro is now 34 years of age and has returned to his native Canada for his job. Spiro, if you're reading this, thank you for everything you did for our university and community during your time here in Central New York!
