After Charlie Finn destroyed the opposition last night, the Colgate Raiders return to lovely Starr Rink to finish the weekend series with Mercyhurst this evening. With 16:20 left in the first period, Jonathan Charbonneau scored to make it 1-0 Mercyhurst. Charlie Finn and Jimmy Sarjeant matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-0 Lakers it remains our score heading to the second period. Finn and Sarjeant matched zeros in the second period so 1-0 Mercyhurst leads after two periods of play in Central New York. With 3:10 left in the third period, Daniel Bahntge scored to make it 2-0 Lakers. With 2:11 left in the third period, Tyson Spink scored his third goal of the season to make it 2-1 Mercyhurst. Spiro Goulakos picks up yet another assist from the Tyson Spink goal. Jimmy Sarjeant finished off the Raiders and the good times end with a 2-1 loss to Mercyhurst. Colgate dropped to 6-2-0 on the season.
