After going more than a few games without a goal or an assist, Spiro Goulakos and the Colgate Raiders head to downtown Boston, Massachusetts to play the best team in the country in the form of Boston University with two NCAA Tournament hopefuls battling. With 15:40 left in the first period, Tyson Spink scored his seventh goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. Charlie Finn and Matt O'Connor matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-0 Raiders it stands after a period of play in Beantown. With 18:22 left in the second period, Chase Phelps scored to tie the game 1-1. With 2:32 left in the second period, Mike Panowyk scored his fourth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-1 Colgate. Finn and O'Connor matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-1 Raiders it remains heading to the third period. With 19:44 left in the third period, Jack Eichel scored to tie the game 2-2. With 8:33 left in the third period, Evan Rodrigues scored to make it 3-2 Terriers. With 1:27 left in the third period, Danny O'Regan scored to make it 4-2 BU. With 1 second left in the third period, Evan Rodrigues scored to make it 5-2 Boston University. Matt O'Connor finished off the Raiders and Boston University uses a four goal third period to beat Colgate 5-2. Colgate dropped to 9-5-1 on the season.
