After continuing his solid freshman season with another assist last night, Spiro Goulakos and the Colgate Raiders return to Starr Rink to play the Princeton Tigers with a special occasion happening after the game in the form of Silver Puck night. With 5:43 left in the first period, Austin Mayer scored his fourth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 26 seconds left in the first period, Austin Smith scored his fourteenth goal of the season to make it 2-0 Raiders. Eric Mihalik and Sean Bonar matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-0 Hamiltonians it remains heading to the second period. Mihalik and Bonar matched zeros in the second period so the Raiders maintain their 2-0 lead heading to the second intermission. With 18:14 left in the third period, Rob Kleebaum scored to make it 2-1 Colgate. With 10:10 left in the third period, John Lidgett scored his first goal as a Colgate Raider to make it 3-1 Hamiltonians. With 8:04 left in the third period, Austin Smith scored his fifteenth goal of the season, short handed to make it 4-1 Colgate! Eric Mihalik finished off the Tigers and Colgate wins 4-1! Colgate improved to 8-4-1 on the season and 4-2-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
