After a horrendous performance last night, the Colgate Raiders return to Oxford to play the second game of the weekend series with Miami on Saturday night at Goggin Ice Center. With 8:20 left in the first period, Kyle Baun scored his second goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 3:31 left in the first period, Bryon Paulazzo scored to tie the game 1-1. Eric Mihalik and Jay Williams matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-1 remains our score heading to the second period. With 17:08 left in the second period, Kevin Morris scored to make it 2-1 RedHawks. Mihalik and Williams matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-1 Miami heading to the third period. With 13:22 left in the third period, Alex Wideman scored to make it 3-1 RedHawks. With 2:17 left in the third period, Riley Baker scored to make it 4-1 Miami. With 1:13 left in the third period, Blake Coleman scored to make it 5-1 RedHawks. Jay Williams finished off the Raiders and Miami wins 5-1. Colgate dropped to 1-2-0 on the season.
