After coming on strong last night, the Colgate Raiders take a trip to Hyannis, Massachusetts to play Rand Pecknold and the Quinnipiac Bobcats on Saturday night in New England. With 12:26 left in the first period, Kurtis Bartliff scored his fourth goal of the season, short handed to make it 1-0 Colgate. Eric Mihalik and Eric Hartzell matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-0 Raiders it remains heading to the second period. With 14:11 left in the second period, Travis St. Denis scored to tie the game 1-1. With 1:05 left in the second period, John Lidgett scored his second goal of the season to make it 2-1 Hamiltonians. Mihalik and Hartzell matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Colgate clings to a 2-1 lead heading to the third period. With 13:23 left in the third period, Darcy Murphy scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 3-1 Raiders. With 10:25 left in the third period, Brendan Corcoran scored his first goal of the season to make it 4-1 Hamiltonians. The aforementioned Rand Pecknold pulled Eric Hartzell out of the net and so, Michael Gartieg filled in for the remainder of the game. With 4:57 left in the third period, Spiro Goulakos scored his second goal of the season to make it 5-1 Raiders! Eric Mihalik finished off the Bobcats and Colgate cruises to a 5-1 win over Quinnipiac! Colgate improved to 4-3-0 on the season!
