After letting his teammates carry the load last weekend, Spiro Goulakos and the Raiders are headed to championship weekend for the second time in Spiro's tenure. Spiro's first trip to championship weekend was two years ago when Colgate played in Atlantic City back when Spiro was a freshman here in Central New York. Furthermore, Spiro and freshman goalie Charlie Finn earned postseason accolades as they were both named to third team all-conference. Spiro and Finn were instrumental in getting Colgate to this point and Colgate fans excitedly await to see what the both of them can do at the highest level of ECAC Hockey.
