After letting the game slip away last night, the Colgate Raiders and Quinnipiac Bobcats fight for their lives in a winner take all game three at Starr Rink on Sunday night. With 15:23 left in the first period, Chris Wagner scored his sixteenth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. Eric Mihalik and Eric Hartzell matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-0 Hamiltonians lead heading to the second period. With 11:05 left in the second period, John Lidgett scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 2-0 Raiders. With 2:52 left in the second period, Austin scored his mind boggling thirty-sixth goal of the season to make it 3-0 Colgate. Mihalik and Hartzell matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Colgate maintains their 3-0 lead heading to an all-important third period. With 4:12 left in the third period, Chris Wagner scored his seven tenth goal of the season, into an empty net to make it 4-0 Hamiltonians! Eric Mihalik finished off the Bobcats and Colgate survives by final of 4-0! Colgate will play in ECAC Hockey championship weekend in Atlantic City!
