After allowing SEVEN unanswered goals last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders return to marvelous Starr Rink to play the Harvard University Crimson before a crucial series next weekend. With 13:54 left in the first period, Chris Wagner scored his ninth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 19 seconds left in the second period, Marshall Evenson scored to tie the game 1-1. Eric Mihalik and Steve Michalek matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-1 remains our score heading to the second period. With 7:27 left in the second period, Peter Starrett scored to make it 2-1 Crimson. Mihalik and Michalek matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Harvard leads 2-1 heading to the third period. With 7:32 left in the third period, Austin Smith scored his twenty-third goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. Mihalik and Michalek matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so we'll play extra hockey because of a 2-2 tie between Colgate and Harvard. Mihalik and Michalek matched zeros in overtime and so, we'll skate to a 2-2, overtime tie. Colgate shifted to 12-8-3 on the season and 6-4-1 in ECAC Hockey play.
