After a strong first half of the season, Spiro Goulakos and the Colgate Raiders return to Starr Rink to play the Sacred Heart Pioneers who are headed to Starr Rink in search of their first win of the season. With 13:28 left in the first period, Eric Delong scored to make it 1-0 Sacred Heart. With 10:11 left in the first period, Darcy Murphy scored his seventh goal of the season, on the power play to tie the game 1-1. Spencer Finney and Andrew Bodnarchuk matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-1 remains our score heading to the second period. With 16:42 left in the second period, Joe Wilson scored his third goal of the season, short handed to make it 2-1 Raiders. With 13:18 left in the second period, Joe Wilson scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 3-1 Hamiltonians. With 8:56 left in the second period, Nathan Sinz scored his first goal of the season to make it 4-1 Colgate. Finney and Bodnarchuk matched zeros for the remainder of the period so the Hamiltonians lead 4-1 heading to the second intermission. With 14:43 left in the third period, Kyle Baun scored his eighth goal of the season to make it 5-1 Raiders. With 11:51 left in the third period, Ryan Stanimir scored to make it 5-2 Colgate. With 6:32 left in the third period, Daniel Gentzler scored his first goal of the season to make it 6-2 Raiders! Spencer Finney finished off the Pioneers and Colgate wins 6-2! Colgate improved to 10-7-2 on the season!
