After the Raider comeback fell just short last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders return to Starr Rink for the best tradition in college hockey, Silver Puck Weekend as the Hamiltonians open ECAC Hockey play against the Quinnipiac University Bobcats at Starr Rink this evening. With 15:48 left in the first period, Emilio Audi scored his first goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. Spencer Finney and Michael Garteig matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Colgate leads 1-0 heading to the second period. With 11:11 left in the second period, Kellen Jones scored to tie the game 1-1. With 4:33 left in the second period, Connor Jones scored to make it 2-1 Quinnipiac. Finney and Garteig matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Quinnipiac leads 2-1 heading to the second intermission. With 19:43 left in the third period, Connor Jones scored to make it 3-1 Bobcats. With 18:55 left in the third period, Darcy Murphy scored his second goal of the season to make it 3-2 in favor of Coach Pecknold's Bobcats. With 16:49 left in the third period, Jordan Samuels-Thomas scored to make it 4-2 Quinnipiac. With 14:17 left in the third period, Sam Anas scored to make it 5-2 Bobcats. With 12:59 left in the third period, Travis St. Denis scored to make it 6-2 in favor of Coach Pecknold's Bobcats. With 11:34 left in the third period, Danny Federico scored to make it 7-2 Quinnipiac. Michael Garteig finished off the Raiders and Quinnipiac emphatically wins 7-2. Colgate dropped to 2-5-1 on the season and 0-1-0 in ECAC Hockey play.
