Spiro Goulakos ends the first half of his freshman season with nine assists for nine points for the French Canadian over the first seventeen games of his Colgate career. Goulakos has distributed the puck very well in his first few games as a Raider and he has a long way to go in his Colgate journey as the dude is only a freshman. Spiro has a long way to go to finish his career here at Colgate but he's a legend already as he plays out his freshman year in Hamilton. However the rest of this season goes, Goulakos will have three more years on Colgate's campus to make a difference on both sides of the puck as he progresses in his Colgate career.
This guy made Colgate into what was in the early to mid 2010s and it was a great time to sit there and watch Spiro and company play college hockey at its highest level. Goulakos will look to claim a spot as an all-time great at Colgate University. Goulakos is still looking for his first career goal and he'll need to continue to produce on both sides of the puck if Colgate wants to do anything this season.
I hope you enjoy the rest of Spiro's freshman season and also the rest of Spiro's Colgate career. I can't wait to see how the rest of his Colgate career will go as he surges towards a Hobey Baker Award hopefully soon. The French Canadian, as I'll continue to refer to him as, will be a major factor on both sides of the puck hoping to give the Raiders a championship of some sort in the future. So, will Spiro be a major part of the team for the next three and a half seasons as the chase for an ECAC Hockey and a national championship continues.
