With 18:50 left in the second period, Kyle Baun scored his twelfth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 1-0 Raiders. With 9:34 left in the second period, Mike Borkowski scored third goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-0 Colgate. With 7:25 left in the second period, Mark Miller scored to make it 2-1 Raiders. With 1:17 left in the second period, Nick Bailen scored to tie the game 2-2. Mihalik and Kasdorf matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-2 remains our score heading to a crucial third period. Mihalik and Kasdorf matched zeros in the third period and so, we'll play extra hockey because of a 2-2 tie between Colgate and RPI. With 10 seconds left in overtime, Matt Neal scored to win the game for Rensselaer 3-2. Colgate dropped to 14-14-4 on the season and 6-11-4 in ECAC Hockey play.
