After preparing for this moment for thirteen days, the Colgate Raiders return to Starr Rink to open their path to Lake Placid as they play the St. Lawrence Skating Saints to begin the second round of the ECAC Hockey tournament. With 17:31 left in the first period, Tyson Spink scored his ninth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 14:51 left in the first period, Kevin Lough scored his third goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-0 Raiders. Charlie Finn and Matt Weninger matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-0 Hamiltonians lead heading to the second period. With 5:40 left in the third period, Justin Baker scored to make it 2-1 Raiders. Charlie Finn finished off the Saints and Colgate takes a 1-0 series lead because of a 2-1 win over St. Lawrence! Colgate will look to sweep St. Lawrence out of the series with a win tomorrow night!
