Eric Mihalik and Taylor Nelson matched zeros in the first period so no score heading to the second period. With 19:06 left in the second period, Travis Ouellette scored to make it 1-0 Ferris State. With 17:11 left in the second period, Austin Smith scored his twentieth goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. With 10:08 left in the second period, Matthew Kirzinger scored to make it 2-1 Bulldogs. Mihalik and Nelson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-1 Ferris State it remains heading to the second intermission. With 19:39 left in the third period, Garrett Thompson scored to make it 3-1 Ferris State. Taylor Nelson finished off the Raiders and Ferris State wins 3-1. Colgate dropped to 12-6-2 on the season.
