After not recording a point last Saturday, Spiro Goulakos and the Colgate Raiders head to Canton, New York to begin a weekend with St. Lawrence and Clarkson hoping to get four points out of the weekend trip to Canton and Potsdam. With 14:35 left in the first period, Greg Carey scored to make it 1-0 Saints. With 12:27 left in the first period, Kevin Tansey scored his first goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. Eric Mihalik and Matt Weninger matched zeros for the remainder of the period so we remain tied 1-1 heading to the second period. With 17:07 left in the second period, Alex Hagen scored to make it 2-1 Skating Saints. With 15:23 left in the second period, Tylor Spink scored his sixth goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. With 11:27 left in the second period, Tylor Spink scored his seventh goal of the season, on the power play to make it 3-2 Raiders. Spiro Goulakos picks up an assist on the Colgate power play goal. With 31 seconds left in the second period, Justin Baker scored to tie the game 3-3. Mihalik and Weninger matched zeros for the remainder of the period so we remain tied 3-3 heading to the third period. With 14:42 left in the third period, Ryan Johnston scored his first goal of the season to make it 4-3 Colgate. With 38 seconds left in the third period, Andrew Black scored his fourth goal of the season into an empty net to make it 5-3 Raiders! Eric Mihalik finished off the Skating Saints and Colgate wins 5-3! Colgate improved to 5-6-1 on the season and 3-2-0 in ECAC Hockey play!
