well damn...

"so we're clear, that look wasn't a "let's attack that man" look. it was a "he seems like an okay guy to me" look." michonne said

"we got to secure him. dump his pack. let's see what this guy really is." rick said

carl grabbed whatever it was that rick handed him and carl walked off, rick turned back around and started talking to everyone.

"everybody else, we need eyes in every direction. they're comin' for us. we might not know how or when, but they are." rick said

everyone got in position, not that we knew what exactly we were looking for anyways.

daryl, maggie and carol searched aaron.

i felt bad for the guy, what if he genuinely wanted to help? poor guy just got punched in the face.

"me and sasha, we didn't see him. if he wanted to hurt us, he could've." maggie said making a point.

rick ignored her, "anybody see anything?!" rick asked

"just a lot of places to hide." glenn said

"alright then, keep looking." rick said

i walked over to the back of the barn, no one was over here so i thought i might as well make myself look busy.

i looked through the cracks, nothing. not a person or living thing in sight.

rick went to carl and talked with him, rick eventually picked up a flare gun.

some other things were on the table but i couldn't make out that's it was.

rick made his way back over to aaron, who'd regained consciousness.

maggie was wiping the side of his face while he layed on the left side of his body.

"that's a hell of a right cross there, rick." aaron said

no body was looking out anymore, so i just rejoined the group.

"sit him up" rick said as if it was a command.

"i think it's better if..." maggie started to say but was cut off by aaron

"it's okay."aaron reassured

"he's fine. sit him up." rick repeated

maggie and michonne helped sit him up, though, michonne was far rougher with it than maggie.

"you're being cautious. i completely understand."aaron said

"how many of your people are out there?" rick asked

aaron moved his gaze to the ground,

"you have a flare gun, you gave it to signal your people. how many of them are there?" rick asked

aaron let out a heavy sigh, he looked so...pitiful. or maybe he was just said that we were so dumb.

"does it matter?" aaronasked

"yes. yes, it does." rick immediately replied

"i mean, of course, it matter how many people are actually out there, but does it matter how many people i tell you are out there? because im pretty sure no matter what number i say. eight, 32, 444, zero, no matter what i say, you're not going to trust me." aaron said
