'For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.'

Aditha woke up before everyone and got ready to wash himself. He was excited for this wedding. That might be the first time when he was really excited for his marriage. When he got married for the first time, all his thoughts were about the impending death as predicted by the astrologer. He just went through those marriages because he had no other option then. His fourth marriage to Sangamithra was also something he didn't wish for. He married her out of duty. He never batted an eyelid towards her until she came to his chamber with that ridiculous plate of food complaining about the way she was treated. He smiled at the thought of that scene.

It was her boldness which made him to look at her. Then he never looked away. His gaze always remained on his woman. She made her place in his heart and reigned on it.

With her in his thoughts, he walked to the river to wash himself. As he swam across the river, her melodious voice reached him.

He smiled to himself and whispered.

Aditha: Yeandhizhaikku magizhchi thaangavillai polum

His mind asked him the same thing about his own excitement. When he came out of the water, Subodhar was standing near the shore and looked Aditha.

Subodhar: Ilavarase, Ilavarasiyar magizhcchiyaaga irukkiraar polum?

Aditha: Neeyum kettaaiya?

Subodhar then nodded his head and smiled.

Subodhar: Thangalin vadhanamum mudhal muraiyaaga thirumanatthai ninaithu magizhcchiyaaga irukkiradhu ilavarase!

Aditha just smiled in response. Subodhar noticed a shine about his prince that day. Something was different about him that day. The wedding preparations was in full uproar. Aditha was dressed in white dhoti.

Subodhar: Thaangal yean nagaigal veandom endru koorugirir ilavarase? Indru thirumanam dhaane?

Aditha: Ivargal panjatthil vaazhum makkal Subodhaa. Ingu nagaigal veandom. Naan aniya virumbum ani nadhikku akkaraiyil irukkiraal.

Subodhar smiled and nodded. He then walked with his prince to the stage arranged for wedding. People of the island were waiting for him and welcomed him with flowers. Many of the people wished him and was excited to see their wedding. He went and settled down on the stage. He also noticed her parisal reaching this end of the river. His eyes wandered to meet her.

She came in his view. He really longed for her. Even the separation of a night killed him. He looked at her from head to toe. She was dressed in a white saree and was adorned with flowers.

When she stopped halfway, he stood up and walked towards her. His gaze didn't wander. His eyes were kept captive by her eyes. When he reached her, he noticed how her eyes were full of tears. As he smiled, she smiled in response. When he extended his arm, she placed her hand on it. He took her to the stage and they sat down.

Aditha: Indha adiyanai meendum manandhu kolvadharku nandri ezhile!

Sangamithra: Thangalai innum aayiram murai kooda manandhu kolven ilavarase!

Aditha: Unnai kaanamal ennai tholaitthadhu pola unarndhen kanne.

Sangamithra: En uyir thangalidatthil dhaane irundhadhu ilavarase...

The old priestess was there to officiate their wedding. The wedding was done based on Niru's customs. As they worshiped river goddess, water became an important part of their wedding.

So the old lady came in front and asked the bride's relative to come forward. Veera came forward and the bride and groom also stood up. The old lady asked Veera to extend his hand and then Sangamithra placed her hand on his hand and then he gave her hand to Aditha. As the three kept their hands together, the old lady poured the water and blessed.
