The scariest villains are the ones who have nothing left to lose

Ponnarasi was walking in the garden right next to the annex building in the crown prince pavilion. She then noticed a woman with a veil on her head passing through the garden.

Since it was an evening, Ponnarasi wasn't sure of that stranger's identity.

Ponnarasi: indha velaiyil yaar olindhu olindhu Sendru kondiruppadhu?

She looked around to see if there were any maids.

Ponnarasi: panippengal kooda yaarum illaiye. Sari. Naame avalai thodarndhu selvom.

As she followed the stranger, she found that person entering a secret tunnel. As it was getting darker, she was a bit scared to follow that person anymore.

In the next moment, when she stepped on a twig, it made a sound which alerted the stranger.

That person turned around to see the source of sound. Ponnarasi ducked her head and hid herself properly. However, she was shocked by the discovery in the very next moment.

Ponnarasi: Porchelvi ku indha velaiyil ingu enna velai?? Enna maraitthu seigiraal?? Indha velaiyil indha vedatthil Yaarai kaana selgiraal??

However, she wasn't brave enough to follow her.

Ponnarasi: Pagalil thaan indha vazhiye Sendru Theda veandum. Enna aabatthu irukkiradhu endru theriyaamal selvadhu Nammai naame aabatthidam kondu selvadhu pola aagum.

She calmly returned to her quarters and settled herself in her chamber. However, she wasn't able to be calm about the situation.

By next morning, after she finished her break fast, she informed her maid that she was going to spend her time in solitude and not to disturb her. She created a set-up in her chamber and left for the secret tunnel.

As she reached the area she found Porchelvi the other day, the tunnel was nowhere to be seen.

Ponnarasi: Netru Ingu dhaane andha suranga paadhai irundhadhu. Indru eppadi kaanamal poga mudiyum?? Ingu dhaan engo irukkiradhu?? Naan adhai thedi kandupidippen.

She again circled that area and eventually found the tunnel. She went inside the tunnel and found a temple at the other end. It was the outskirts of the capital.

There was also a huge house in that area which also had several guards.

Ponnarasi: ingu Vara veandiya alavuku avalukku enna velai??

She went behind that house and hid near the trees.

Guard 1: Andha pen pizhaippaal endru unaku thondrugiradha??

Guard 2: Aval pizhaikka vaaippillai. Avalukku noi piditthu vittadhu. Nam Ilavarasiyudan pottikku sendraal enna nadakkum??

Ponnarasi: Ivargal yaarai patri pesi kolgiraargal??

She came out of her hiding spot to see inside the house. As she walked around, she found a window. When she looked inside the window, she was shocked to find Poovarasi lying on the bed. She was lying without any clothes and was just covered by a white cloth. She seemed really sick.

Ponnarasi: ivalai thaan pizhaikka maattaal endru andha kaavalargal pesi kondanaro?

Ponnarasi looked around the room to see if there was anyone with her. When she confirmed that Poovarasi was alone, she called for her. The latter heard her voice and turned towards the window.
