A/N - I'm pumping out about five one shot stories every week, and only my drafts are piling up.

Gosh, writing is actually so fun. It's addicting once you've got so many new ideas for your book.

That reminds me, I need to work on mine (not this wattpad collection).

Hopefully, the draft of my first book will be ready by the end of the year since I'm aiming for about 75,000 words.

Alright, now. Happy reading!

- Third Person's POV -

When looking into the mirror, you never understood why Aphrodite claimed to be your godly parent.

You didn't feel as pretty as your other siblings looked. Especially with how your nose was shaped.

It was an odd lump: sticking out and pushing back in in all the weirdest ways. You also barely had a nose bridge, which meant you were one step closer to being Voldemort himself.

Your older half-brother was your biggest supporter. Tom was a sweet thing, especially gentle with you because you both lost your mortal parent by the same monster and on the same day.

"You look flawless, kid," Tom smiled fondly, sneaking you a grin as he checked his reflection. "Just as perfect as your big bro, see?"

"But you pull more than me," you smiled weakly as Tom knelt down to help you put on your shoes. "I feel like a blob."

"I can assure you, you're not," Tom said firmly, flicking your ankle with his fingers. "Mother might as well burst if she hears you say that."

You giggled, glancing at how the cabin walls seem to radiate with a pink glow. "I'm pretty sure she's listening to us right now."

"Well, now. I've arranged you for a date." Tom announced casually.

"What in Aphrodite's name?!" you shrieked in surprise, springing up and glaring at Tom's cheeky face. "I told you, I'm not interested in dating!"

"Liar liar, pants on fire," Tom said in a sing-song voice. "No child of Aphrodite is against the idea of dating, I can tell you that."

He caught your doubtful expression and softened his gaze. "Besides, there's no way I would choose just any random guy for you."

"Fine," you muttered, "The date better be good."

It was not.

Tom had arranged for you to have a picnic dinner with a fellow camper named Aaron, a Hermes kid.

Gods, he was obnoxious and rude and annoying. Apparently, Tom's definition of "not a random guy" was just another blonde hunk with blue eyes and chiseled jawline.

When he excused himself to go to the bathroom, you immediately took the chance to end the date yourself, leaving Aaron to frown grumpily.

"Aphrodite girls are always like that," he rolled his eyes, "Players and pathetic flirts."

You ignored his disgusting comment and ran for the clearing. You needed to clear your head.

You rested yourself against a large willow tree and sighed. Maybe this was all your fault. Maybe if you weren't so insecure, maybe you could find love more easily.

After a while, you decided you couldn't just sit there and mope for the rest of the night.

You could have been doing more important things, such as doing your hair or painting your nails. Anything that made you happy should be prioritized over this crap.

You were about to get up when a boy your age crashed into you. Had he been watching you this whole time?

"Gods!" he cried, tumbling right on top of you. "I'm sorry, I was running away from Leo-"

Nico di Angelo stopped short in his tracks when he locked eyes with you: the girl he had been admiring for months from afar. He blushed, you were even prettier up close.

"Oh, hey," whispered Nico, breathlessly. He didn't even bother to try and get up. "It's you."

You weren't even listening, too focused on how his forehead was pressed tenderly against yours.

For a moment, all you could think about was how your faces fit against one another like a puzzle.

The little curves on Nico's sharp, italian nose fit perfectly against yours. And in a way, it made you feel truly, genuinely flawless.

As if you were made to be, completing each other in ways more than one.

"Hey," you replied back, smiling softly as the two of you scrambled to your feet.

"What a nosy little guy you are."

A/N - Just a reminder that every oneshot I post that's circling all about insecurities is not to put you lovely beings down, but to remind you that there is love in every part of your body.

And Nico seems to thinks the same way too <3

Also, I'm not speaking for what I think should be an insecurity, but basing them off of mine :D

Once again, lots and lots of love,
