A/N - heyy I promised you a special episode for our 100th post, didn't I? :D

I decided to give you guys a mini-series, consisting of a few, long-written one shots with a plot that I've devised to tear your heart out, crush your soul, and patch it up together just to break it again.

Thanks for making it this far and supporting me up to this very day. Happy reading!

TW!! - though this does happen in real life, this one shot could be considered to be rather toxic and cruel.

M/P - mortal parent

G/P - godly parent (please choose one that has physical powers: water, fire, plants, lightning, etc.)

P/E - power element (whether it is a river, campfire, shrubs, clouds, etc. that you can control)

Chapter 1 : The End

- Third Person's POV -

You and Nico have the most perfect relationship.

After crushing on you for a few years, the silly guy was finally able to gather up his courage and asked you out.

He was your knight in shining armor, the light and love of your life.

Nico had come during the darkest times of your life. You had just lost your M/P, your best friends, and most of your siblings from your shared cabin due to the wars.

It was awful. Many of the other campers could see how life was sucked away from your eyes.

From a girl who used to be full of hope and cheer, grew to be someone who struggles to get to the next day.

Now that you had the perfect, caring boyfriend, you would often return to the comfort and warmth of his embrace. It felt like coming back home.

However, little did Nico know just how much you were hurting on the inside.

There were plenty of unresolved issues and problems that were messing up in your head. You felt like screaming and clawing your heart just to stop the pain.

But alas, time is not always kind to people. What was supposed to heal and fix you, only made you sink deeper into the void.

"Just leave me alone, Nico," you groaned, trying to prevent him from entering your lonely cabin, "Can't I have my own space every once in a while?"

"If by once in a while you mean every day, then no," Nico stuck his foot between the door and its frame, holding you firmly by the shoulders, "Y/N, look. I know you're hurting, but it's not right for you to wallow alone in your own misery with no one to save you."

"Oh, yeah. Thanks a lot, Mom," you snorted, pulling away roughly from his grasp as you walked away.

Nico closed the door and sighed, staring at the cold shoulder you were giving him.

"You're hurting yourself, Y/N," Nico told you gently, walking a few steps forwards to try and get closer to you, "You're hurting me. You're hurting us."

"Oh, don't get all smart with me now, di Angelo," you snapped, scoffing slightly at his pathetic attempts to try to soothe you, "You don't know crap. Not a thing about me."

You immediately regretted the words that had came from your mouth the moment you saw something break in Nico's gaze.

He fell silent, reaching forwards for the Hades figurine in his pocket and fiddling with it mindlessly.

You stopped yourself short. You remembered about Bianca and all the pain that Nico had went through. Just like how you did.

"You've changed, love," Nico whispered, reaching forwards to try and lace your fingers through his, "You are my best friend. My first love. And I know just how beautiful and pure your heart used to be."

"Used to be," you repeated bitterly, shaking his hand off for who knows how many times that afternoon, "I guess I had forgotten how to love, huh?"

Nico paused, looking at you with a slight panic in his eyes, "Y/N, don't say that. I can teach you. And I can make you feel love and loved again."

"And have you poking at my side for the rest of my life? No, thank you."

What do you mean that you don't love him anymore? You were obsessed with Nico di Angelo. He was your everything - your entire world, your whole heart.

You didn't even know what you were saying. It was as if your lips had a mind of their own.

"You must be a damn masochist if you would rather stay with me," you muttered, turning over to look at him, "And I say we're over."

"But I don't," Nico pleaded, his knees growing weak as he tried to pull you back into his arms, "Don't I get a say in this? Can't I keep you?"

Tears were welling up in his eyes. Nico could feel things breaking apart, being torn away from his bare hands. He bowed his head slightly to conceal the tears from you.

"Is it me?" he whispered, his voice growing raspier by the minute, "Is it something I had done? I swear, baby. I can fix it. Please, give me a chance."

"We've over, Nico," you sighed, walking over to gently cup Nico's face in the palm of your hands.

Your touch was cold and cruel, but it was better than nothing. Nico exhaled a shuddering breath as you pressed your forehead against his, his lips quivering as he closed his eyes.

He wanted to argue with you, tell you how you were wrong. How it couldn't be over, this had to be some horrible nightmare.

But when you tilted his face up, held it in your hands, and pressed your forehead against his, he realized for the thousandth time just how much he loved you.

He swallowed back a sob, closing his eyes, his entire body trembling as he finally gave a weak, quiet whisper,

"... I hate you."

You smiled softly, knowing how much of a bad liar your love was.

"I'm sorry," you whispered. At least you owe him that: an apology. "I loved you, I'm sorry."

No, Nico deserved the world. A world that you couldn't give him.

He couldn't stop the choked sob that escaped him as you pulled him close, holding him against your chest. He buried his face in your shoulder, hiding the tears silently streaming down his face as you apologized.

His arms wrapped around you like he was clinging on, clinging on to the love he hadn't lost, but lost for you.

"I know," He choked, brokenly, "I know you loved me, and I know you're sorry, darling."

He took a shaky, shaky breath.

"I just wish I could've been enough."

A/N - I had written the whole series at school, by the way - cramming in my recess and break hours just to get the writing done.

And I enjoyed every single bit and minute of it <3

P.S - requests are still open! To all of you who wish for me to bring your ideas to life, just shoot me a message and I'll try my best to make it happen :D
