A/N - I'm just writing about two oneshots per day now.

I apologize if the quality is decreasing (or increasing, if you may), but I really do enjoy posting my stories for ya'll to read.

With that being said, enjoy!

P.S. this oneshot would have a plot similar to Percy's memory loss when Hera decided to be a tad bit petty. Also, I might use the trope of having big-brother Percy again.

- Third Person's POV -

After the war against Kronos, your life has been amazing.

Nico had confessed to you in the spur of the moment during the after-war celebrations. And ever since then, the two of you began dating.

The two love birds were inseparable. After years and years of having a crush and pining over you, Nico was finally able to muster up the courage and ask you out.

Nico was perfect. He was gentle, patient, and kind. You knew how much of a difficult person you could be, but Nico stuck through it all. Thick and thin.

He held you every night and adored pressing soft kisses against your cheeks. He was a dream.

You loved him ever so dearly.

However, only a few months into your relationship, you were whisked away on another mission to save the world.

That's when your nightmare started.

You and Percy woke up on the ground, surrounded by monsters.

For the next few weeks, the two of you worked together to survive the dangers of the world, always on alert of your surroundings and absolutely terrified that a demon might stab you in the back.

Your efforts were revealed to be fruitful when you and Percy arrived at Camp Jupiter.

Sure, Percy had to lose his Achilles' mark and carried an old hag-goddess across the borders, but at least you were safe now.

"Hey there, love," a boy with dark, lanky hair came up to you. He was wearing a sort of toga. Or was it a cloak? You couldn't tell, being too distracted by his pretty eyes.

"Hi," you greeted the sweet guy with a smile. "What's your name?"

A hurt look flashed over the boy's expression, in which he quickly extinguished. "Nico," he grinned through the pain, "Nico di Angelo. And you?"

"Y/N Jackson," you shook his hand. His palms were so soft. "Are you new here too?"

Nico chuckled, "How can you tell?"

"You don't look like you belong in a place like this," you refrained from saying pretty boy.

"How observant of you," Nico rolled his eyes playfully as he took your hand in his, lacing your fingers together. "Come on, I'll show you around."

What a flirt.

'What about Percy?" you quipped, trailing after Nico eagerly.

"Nah, he'll figure things out by himself," Nico dismissed the topic with a wave of his hand. "I'm much more interested in you."

You blushed. Normally, you wouldn't condone such flirty acts towards you from a guy. But for some reason, you felt pleased to hear compliments and words of affection coming out of Nico's lips.

For the next few days, while Percy was pondering his life decisions and going through a midlife crisis, you were living your best life.

Nico was a darling, the perfect gentleman.

While he had to leave for a few hours everyday, he always took time to spend with you.

It was not until that one night, Nico invited you out to sit on a hill, not far from camp, and gaze up at the stars.

You laid down on the grass with him, allowing Nico to hold your hand and stroke your arm tenderly.

You turned your body over to look at Nico, a gentle smile on your face as you whispered into the dark. "You have the prettiest eyes."

"Says you," Nico blushed, turning his head to gaze dreamily at you, "Beautiful."

He remained quiet for a while, slowly rubbing his thumb over your knuckles.

"I have to leave tomorrow," Nico said, "We won't be able to hang out for a while."

You fell quiet. For a while, you felt as if a little piece of you had been taken away by the gods.

"Okay," you smiled weakly, pressing a soft kiss against Nico's cheek. "I'll wait for you."

Without another word, Nico wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you close to him, sealing your words with a kiss.

That's when you realized who Nico was.

The boy you loved.

You wrapped your arms tightly around Nico's neck, deepening the kiss.

"I love you."

You could feel Nico smiling against your lips, his eyes brimming with tears. You remembered.

"I love you too, darling."

A/N - But it was too late, wasn't it?

Nico was leaving you.

Update: I'm running for Student Council President and it is TERRIFYING. I've worked for this position for about three years now, and I'm scared that I won't be able to get my dream role.

Anyway, that's it from my little vent. Let's hope that I could win with my campaign <3
