A/N - I'm back! And we have LOADS of oneshot ideas to get out.

And so, I present to you the first of the batch.

Enjoy!

- Third Person's POV -

You and Nico were childhood bestfriends. Since the two of you were kids, young Nico fell for your pretty eyes and sweet smile.

It all started the moment the two of you met at the grounds of Camp Half-Blood. Since then, you were inseparable.

The only place he wanted to belong to was your heart.

You were his inspiration, his muse. The two of you adored different forms of art. He loved making comics, and you loved making music.

Everyday, he would spend his time trailing after you like a lost puppy, all the while trying to get your attention.

However, it was all in vain.

Things have changed after the war against Kronos and Gaea, including how Nico saw your friendship.

Nico quickly realized that you never loved him in the way that he so desperately wanted you to.

One day, Nico spotted you blushing as a random guy from training chatted with you.

Lucas.

He was better than Nico in every way possible.

Lucas was handsome, Nico was average.

Lucas was rich (at least, in the mortal realm), Nico lived most of his life on the streets.

Eventually, Nico seems to grow to accept the fact that you would be better off without him.

But it doesn't mean that he's letting go of you that easily.

After dinner, he gently gathered you in his arms, hugging you real tight.

"I need you," he whispered into your ear, "Can we hang out?"

You smiled softly, tenderly running your fingers through his dark locks, "Of course, Neeks."

Nico led you to a secluded place near the lake, where he took out a sketchpad and a pencil and began to draw.

"You're beautiful," Nico mumbles, his gaze set dreamily on you as he began to draw, "As usual."

You chuckled in amusement and struck a few poses for him. In the end, you took out your ukulele and began to sing.

You've always been Nico's main source of inspiration. He continues to draw in the sketchbook in front of him, pausing to look at you every once in a while.

You peeked at Nico's sketchbook and grinned teasingly, "Is that supposed to be me?"

Nico nods, pulling the sketchbook closer to his chest with a small pout.

He murmurs, "Yes, it is." He then turns the sketchbook around to show you the sketch, almost hesitantly.

It is you. The character looks exactly like you, down from the pretty eyes and to the winning smile of yours.

You smiled faintly, "That's for your comic, isn't it?"

Nico blushed, looking at you shyly, "You still remember that?"

"Of course, I do," you reached out to gently cup Nico's face in the palm of your hands, "it's been your dream since forever."

You looked down at the sketch again, and giggled, "Why'd you draw me in that hairstyle? You know I wasn't the best at dolling myself up that time."

Nico remembered exactly how you looked when the two of your first met, far before Lucas began interfering in your relationship.

He wanted to preserve that moment forever.

"Because it suits the overall theme in the comic," Nico responds.

He closes the sketchbook, setting it carefully on the rock beside him. He crosses his arms, tilting his head and staring intently at you.

"And it's pretty," he adds under his breath.

You wrapped your arms around Nico's neck and gave him a fond squeeze, "Call me if you need anything else, alright?"

Nico smiles softly as you hug him tightly, his cheeks tinged pink.

He nods, "I will."

Nico leans forward and rests his head on your chest. He takes a deep breath, closing his eyes for a moment.

Nevermind Lucas, he can die for all Nico cared.

"Thank you for being my muse," Nico says quietly, "You're the reason why I draw."

He opened his eyes again, looking up at you with a smirk as he leaned more into your touch and rested his cheek against your arm.

It was all so very, very intimate. Nico began to question your relationship with Lucas.

His doubts were completely diminished when he felt your soft lips wrap around the tip of his nose in a gentle kiss.

Nico's body stiffened for a moment at the feel of your foreign, yet familiar touch. He could feel your warmth seeping through his cotton shirt and could smell the sweet scent of your perfume.

For a second, he closed his eyes, taking a deep breath.

"My darling," the words escaped your lips before you could even stop them at a second thought.

Darling.

That's a new one.

Nico let out a soft chuckle before turning slightly to look at you. Those dark eyes were unreadable, yet softened ever so slightly when they rested on you.

He leaned back against a tree, allowing you to rest on top of him.

"My darling," he whispered back, sealing his love for you with a kiss.

A/N - I wrote this in the middle of the night.

Now, please excuse me as I leave to catch up with the rest of my school work.
