Aro heard Marcus's question. he stood in silence for a moment before deciding to respond. "Jane" he said while lifting just one hand. The blonde with the crimson eyes quickly rushed to Aro's side. You would've thought she was a puppy given a command.
Aro kept his eyes on Y/N while giving Jane instructions. "Would you please take Y/N to one of our empty chambers. It seems she will be staying with us for a while." his words were smooth. Even venom can be spoken with such ease. This made Y/N question what Aro wanted and what did he mean she was going to be staying with them for a while?
Jane placed her crimson eyes on Y/N and gave a small bend to her knee as if she was giving Aro a small unnoticeable curtsey. She started walking past Y/N briskly and gave here only one command. "Follow."
As Jane and Y/N left the vicinity. All three Volturi men kept silent. Except for Marcus who had a million questions for Aro and wondering what his intentions are with this mortal witch. Why did they not just kill her then. He wanted to know what witches blood taste like.
Aro suddenly turned around on his heels to face Marcus and Caius. Both men could see the grinds turning in Aros eyes. "Spectacular, just spectacular, even magnificent don't you think?" Aro spoke with a wide grin of excitement. Marcus and Caius looked upon each other. Both were not quite sure how to respond. Until Caius spoke first. "She is not another one of your collectables, is she?" Aro then shot Caius a glance and gave a slight laugh. A laugh that wasn't really a genuine laugh. It was more fake than real.
"Imagine a witch, here in Volterra. Not just any witch. However, one that Viktor is in search of." Aro said as his tongue made the words lighter. "What a coincidence." Marcus spoke up. "What would Viktor have to trade us in order to acquire this witch of his hmm?" Aro spoke as he looked upon Marcus and Caius. "He seems to be in a predicament now, he would have to give us the tombs from his coven. Give them to their rightful possessor." Caius stated assertively. "Precisely!" Aro shouted. This making Marcus jumped with a slight jolt in his seat. But Marcus became curious, curious about what enfolding in front of them. What did Aro see that they couldn't and why did he threaten her after he went through her mind?
"What did you see in the witch?" Marcus spoke. This is when Aro's gears started turning. Maybe even jamming at this point. He looked down towards his hands and his eyes seemed to be flicking back and forth in thought. He did not want to come across weak to his fellow Volturi. However, somewhere deep inside Aro, he did not want to mention all the unnecessary visions of Y/N's past. Especially the dark memories.
