In the depths of the Volturi's dungeon, amidst the echoes of forgotten prisoners, a transformation of unprecedented magnitude was about to unfold. Aro had become a rogue vampire.
As darkness enveloped the dungeon, Aro's eyes blazed with an unholy fire. His skin turned an ashen gray, Paler than the usual pale he carried. His veins pulsating with an otherworldly energy. His once-piercing crimson gaze grew clouded and malevolent, they were ink black, reflecting the turmoil that raged within him.
With a guttural roar, Aro tried to claw at his own neck with his protruding nails. He knew there was no stopping this. There was no turning back. He could only run through the course.Aro hated going rogue. Only to wake up to the horror unfolded before him.
As Aro was struggling with himself in the dungeon. Caius was quickly making his way to find Y/N. She was the only mortal within the Volturi walls and Aro instructed him to do so.
Caius searched all the halls and her chamber. She was nowhere to be seen. Caius found his mate Athenodora and asked her urgently. She would be the one person who would know Y/N's whereabouts. Unfortunately, Athenodora did not know where Y/N gone off to after their conversation earlier in the day.
Caius was desperately trying to find her. Athenodora was searching for her as well once Caius explained the vitality.
Aro continued to thrash against the bars, his feral hunger gnawing at his insides. The scent of fresh blood tantalized his senses, driving him to the brink of madness.
Amidst the shadows, a witch emerged, Aro could only see a shadowed figure. His consciousness was not present anymore. her eyes shimmering with forbidden knowledge. She had overheard Aro's pleas for sustenance and, moved by his desperation, decided to intervene. What little did he know, this was all Marcus's plan. The witch had her hand in it as well.
With a flick of her wrist, the lock on Aro's gate unlocked. The heavy barred door creaked open, releasing him from his prison. Aro's eyes widened in disbelief as he stumbled out of the dungeon, his body trembling with anticipation. He needed to feed, and he needed to feed now. His nostrils were scenting every ounce of pulsating blood above the dungeons.
he growled, his voice a guttural rasp. The witch hid back in her shadow as she witnessed the rogue vampire hurry his way up the dungeon stairs. She smiled wickedly as her plan was unfolding.
Marcus, who was once knocked off his seat by the blood-wine, was now writing a letter to Sedrick. Proclaiming that Aro went rogue and the Volturi seek his dismissal. He smiled wickedly to himself. His plan was transpiring. He knew the moment he heard Aro's low hiss from down the corridor. All he needed was for Aro to sink his teeth into Y/N. If only it was that easy to kill them both with one bite.
Marcus quickly took the empty bottle from under his cloak. The same bottle the witch gave him in the dungeons. He quickened his steps as he made his way to the window. He quickly opened the window as he checked his surroundings to make sure no one was watching as he chucked the bottle out.
With ease, Marcus closed the window and slowly walked out of the trial hall. He was making his way back to his chamber. He didn't want to be part of the massacre that was to unfold.
With each step, Athenodora and Caius checked every rooms. Athenodora even checked the gardens. That is when a thought occurred to them. At the same time "The library!" Caius and Athenodora exclaimed. With a hurry in their steps, they ran down the corridor in the direction of the library.
Caius sensed something was wrong. That is when they heard a scream from an adjacent hall. He sensed Aro was there. "He is loose" Caius spoke. This bringing Athenodoras attention. "I thought you said you locked him in the dungeon" she looked at him puzzled. "I did, and I think something just let him out" Caius's eyes widened. That is when they both picked up the pace.
