Y/N and Lucian been in the trial room for a few hours. Catching up on tales of their lives since they split up at the tree line back up north. Y/N wiped the tears from her dear friend's eyes and comforted him. Now he wore the emotional mask he entered the room with.
Lucian been fidgeting with her confinement bracelets until they finally 'clicked' and her wrists were free. Lucian couldn't help but smile genuinely at Y/N.
"A promise kept" he said as he placed a small kiss upon her wrist.
"Thank you, Lucian," Y/N gleefully said as she started slightly rubbing her wrists where the confinements once laid.
"Now, how does it feel?" Lucian asked.
Y/N understood he was asking about her magic. How it felt for her magic to flow through her body again.
Y/N felt a fuzzy feeling course through her. This must've been the magic that was kept hidden for way too long.
"Here" Lucian said as he walked over to the trial room table and graded a goblet and brought it back to Y/N
"Try it out" he gestured to the goblet he placed in front of her.
Y/N held her hands in front of herself with her palms facing the goblet. She closed her eyes with her thoughts concentrated on the goblet. She imagined knocking it over. She imagined moving it. She imagined it flying up to the ceiling.
However, she heard no clunking sound of the goblet doing either of these things. But Lucian was watching intently. His eyes narrowed as he was watching Y/N and shifting his eyes back to the goblet. There he noticed it scooted the length of a hair.
Y/N opened her eyes and noticed no change. This leaving her slightly disappointed. She moved her gaze from the goblet and back to her own hands.
"Give it time" Lucian kindly said to Y/N in a low whisper.
Y/N nodded her head, however her features still carried disappointment.
Lucian knew that Y/N's magic has returned. He could sense it. Her natural vanilla scent now mixed with a newfound mix. A mix of Vanilla and lavender now surrounded her. He knew it would take some time for her magic to regain its strength. She had worn the confinement bracelets for way too long.
"Are you going to be leaving?" Y/N suddenly asked.
"I will be, but not today. Volturi offered us room until the end of the week" Lucian confirmed. "I will be here if you need me" he added with concerned eyed.
"Where will you be going?" she pushed with curiosity.
"The clan will be sailing north-west. We plan on settling down there." Lucian stated
This made Y/N swallow hard. Her expression different and her eyes looked upon her hands. She felt like she just found her lost friend, only to lose him again. Lucian was the only family she had. He was a big brother figure in her life.
"I will always come when you need me, no matter how far" Lucian added as he placed his hand on her chin to make her look up at him. "You are part of my clan, we are family" he added.
This giving a bright smile across Y/N's face. "And I will always be here for you" she spoke in a soft voice.
"Now, this Aro guy" Lucian started.
"Aro? what about him" she questioned. Her gaze matching the mischievous eyes Lucian was exchanging with her.
"Lucian!" She exclaimed with laughter.
"What? he seems attached to you. I saw the whole exchange between you and him before he left this room" Lucian explained.
"That doesn't mean anything" Y/N added.
