In the dim sanctuary of his chamber, Aro lay sprawled upon his silken sheets, his mind adrift in a labyrinth of contemplation. The flickering flames of the candles cast intricate shadows upon his handsome features, illuminating the depths of his piercing crimson eyes.

As his thoughts roamed freely, Aro's mind drifted back to the events of the past few days. He had been a witness to both triumph and tragedy, and the weight of it all rested heavily upon his shoulders. His coven had emerged victorious from a perilous encounter with their enemies every day in the Volturi trials, upholding the ancient laws.

He turned his gaze towards the window, where the moon hung high in the starlit sky. Its ethereal glow seemed to beckon him, inviting him to share his burdens with the silent witness of the night.

Rising from his bed, Aro approached the window and threw open the casements. The cool night air washed over him, carrying with it the scent of blooming jasmine from the gardens below. He leaned out into the void, his eyes fixed upon the celestial orb above.

In the soft glow of the moonlight, Aro's thoughts began to take shape. He spoke aloud, as if confiding in a trusted friend. He shared his worries, his fears, and his hopes for the future of his coven.

As he poured out his heart, a sense of peace began to descend upon him. The moonlight seemed to soothe his troubled mind, and the gentle breeze whispered words of comfort in his ears.

By the time the moon had begun to set, Aro felt a renewed sense of purpose. He had faced his demons and come to terms with the challenges that lay ahead. He knew that the path would not be easy, but he was determined to guide his coven through the darkness and towards a brighter future.

Although, he was not actually speaking about the coven, but of Y/N.

With a deep breath, Aro closed his window and returned to his bed. As he lay down, he could feel the weight of his responsibilities fading away. He knew that he would not face them alone, for his coven stood with him, united in their unwavering support.

Y/N stood with him.

Suddenly Jane rushed through his chamber door. This making Aro shoot straight up from his bed.

Jane only starred at him in wonderment. Trying to understand why he was lying in bed, especially when they do not sleep.

"Yes, Jane." Aro stated. He was not pleased with Jane's intrusion.

"It's Marcus, I and Dimitri found him lying unconscious on the corridor floor outside his chamber." She announced.

Something in Aro was sinister. His mind split in half. One seeking help and another pleased with Marcus's state.

If Marcus 'died', he would not need to worry anymore.

"Take me to him."Aro snapped at Jane as he followed her swiftly out of his chamber.

They quickly made it down several corridors until they reached Marcus's chamber.

"Dimitri and I brought him back to his bed" Jane stated with no change to her features.
