After some time of preparing, Edan was ready to face the final Bishop. It didn't matter how many times he was killed, he would kill Shamura and free his master. Edan read the reply from Ebany once last time before he headed out to face them. In the days before, Edan built up his strength and spoke with Kudaai about which weapons to use. On the way, he encountered Forneus who wished him luck, and told him that she would have Ebany's gift ready soon. Edan thanked her and continued on his way. The enemies he encountered were like a warm up to him. They would make good practice for when he faced Shamura themselves.

It wasn't long before the Bishop of War appeared before him.

Shamura waited for the lamb. They waited until the time was right. After their encounter, Shamura would return to the temple and summon Webber to tell him something important. If only they had more time... more time to spend with their son... Yes. Webber was like his son. Shamura wished they could stay and be their parent. Heket would be an aunt, and his brothers would be uncles. Webber and Leshy would probably prank the heck out of Kallamar. The little spider was mischievous, even if he hadn't pulled any pranks as of late. Shamura remembered the time when Webber stopped carrying the big spool of sparkling silk thread with him at all time. It was like it happened yesterday...

Webber had forgotten the shining silk thread one day. He rushed to his room and grabbed it. It happened again and he did the same. Little by little, Webber decided to stop carrying the thread with him. One day, he left the spool in his room on purpose. Webber had gradually got used to not having the thread on him all the time. Shamura was proud of Webber. The little spider matured since he came into the Cult. Webber got used to living in the Cult quickly... Which would make their last meeting heartbreaking.

Shamura knew they would die by the lamb's hooves... They imagined what things may have been like if they got to formally announce Webber as their son. Heket would be an aunt, and his brothers would be uncles. What would they think of Webber? The Bishops were unaware of how close they and Webber had become. Webber loved pranks that made people laugh. He and Leshy would be a pranking duo and their favorite victim would most likely be Kallamar. Webber would respect them, especially Heket with that temper of hers...

Shamura was glad Webber would be safe. Right now, the little spiderling was playing with Rune, and Ebany watched over them with her familiar. Ebany once told them that if she had the chance, she would have taken the lamb to Noonveil and possibly never return. There was a problem with that. So long as the lamb was alive, it could have children and repopulate its race. None of the Bishops would risk that or wait for it to die naturally. It had to be killed... but even that didn't save them. No. They would never have risked it. Not even if Ebany knew of them or not. They could not continue those train of thoughts as the Purple Crown glowed, alerting them of the lamb...

The lamb comes... It is time to go. Shamura disappears and emerges before the lamb...

"Five becomes… becomes… nothing. Nothing at all! The duty I owe to my brethren cannot be shirked. My temple awaits."

Shamura disappeared after sending enemies to deal with the lamb. Edan made short work of them, even if it took a few minutes. It always did with the waves of enemies Shamura sent after them. Edan finished them off and continued. On the way, he rescued a poor bear who had been captured and tied to what looked like a stalagmite. Edan interrupted the ritual and saved the bear, reassuring them and sending them to the Cult where his followers would help them settle. Edan continued on his way, defeating enemies, and finding blueprints. They would make nice additions to the cult.
