Ebany kept an eye on the clock, keeping an eye on the type as she had until 11:00 p.m. until she needed to go to the Cult of the Lamb. Webber wanted to go too since he'd get to see Shamura again. Ebany made sure that he got some rest in between trick-or-treating since Webber had been walking for a good few hours. It took a good while to go through everywhere in the village. Alia and Jared also made sure the kids rested. After getting a good amount of candy, a rest was taken, as well as a dinner being eaten.

The crew had gathered in Serenity's restaurant to have a meal. The spell outside did help with warmth, but the hot food did the trick. Everything was discounted due to the holiday. Not to mention that there was a Halloween menu! It was basically the same as the regular one but the food was styled to fit Halloween. After this, Webber would take a nap so we would be wide awake for the ritual later. He and Pip had the kid's meal as they talked about a lot of stuff.

The two wanted to match with their costumes and had a hard time picking them. Many were so cool! In the end, they decided to be musketeers for the holiday. Serena surprised them by appearing in her ghost form as the third musketeer. Too bad they didn't have a fourth one like in the book. Either way, they were having fun and had a load of candy! Webber was going to take some to his family so they could share some treats! Who knows how he would react to seeing  two of his uncles in time out...

Ebany debated on resting or sleeping as well since she was no longer a nap taker. She decided on resting to stay awake later on. That and she would drink a sweet beverage later. Though... based on the events that would occur, she might be wide awake after all. The next day was día de los muertos. Her mother already had the marigold flower petal trail leading to their home for her mother to walk upon. She was planning to visit her hometown soon to pay her respects at her mother's grave and see her family.

Richy would be helping Ebany and Webber get ready before they had to go. He'd make sure they didn't get too tired. The shifter knew how important Ebany's role was should her assistance be needed. He was more than happy to help and care for Rune since she'll probably be asleep for the whole night. It was around 8:00 p.m. when they all finished dinner. There were still parties and people trick-or-treating outside. The kids decided to trick-or-treat once more time before calling it a night. They went to the places they hadn't gone to yet which took around half an hour.

It was then that Ebany and Webber, accompanied by Richy, went home for the night. They had to set out later. Their friends all bade them farewell, goodnight, and good luck. While on route to home, Webber munched on a couple of candies and have a peanut butter chocolate to Ebany who loved the stuff. No chocolate was given to the pups unless they were puppy safe. Fortunately, Rosie sent Halloween brownies for them which they enjoyed once they got home. Ebany made sure she was packed to stay the night at the Cult since it would be very late. Webber made sure to take his nap, knowing Ebany would wake him up later.

"Webber, wake up! It's time to go!" Ebany gently shook the spider awake. Webber slept on the couch and sleepily got up. It was almost 11:00...

Ebany helped him up and gave him some juice to give him some energy. She had made a taro milk tea for herself earlier. They quickly got ready for the trip by changing out of their costumes and putting on warmer attire. It wouldn't be so warm out there with no spell to help. Since it was late at night, Ebany decided that portaling to the Cult would be the safest option. Now that the portal incident was over, it was safe to use portals again. Richy was staying in the guest room with the pups for the night. Ebany's parents were home too. All would be well once they got back. All Ebany had to do was make a portal to the Cult of the Lamb.
