Ebany made sure to finish assignments quickly, but correctly, so she would be ahead and not worry about a thing for when she got back. Today would be when she and her companions, plus Webber, would visit Edan. Edan had written that Leshy was free and living in the Cult. He was known as a trouble maker as he loved to burrow and spook others. Ebany could tell that Edan was tempted to let Narinder have his way with Leshy several times.

Rune trotted alongside Webber as they made their way to the teleportation stone. She was happy that they would get to see Edan. Webber was curious about officially meeting Leshy. They never really interacted, though Leshy did praise him once for scaring Kallamar. Webber didn't get along with Narinder for obvious reasons, but he worried that he might not get along with Leshy... Ebany told him that she believed that they would get along. From what she knew, Leshy loved pranks and so did Webber. Ebany told them that they were almost there. Like they did with her friends, they entered the secret entrance to the teleportation stone.

Ebany walked to it and placed the talisman and wool in one of the slots. The stone lit up and activated it. Looks like it could work with only one key after all. Ebany looked at Webber and nodded to him. Webber nodded back and picked up Rune. They all got on the stone and we're teleported to the Cult of the Lamb.

Edan had met with the entity once again and was given god tears upon completing missions and defeating the acolytes again. When they reverted back to their mortal forms, it was like they woke up from a nightmare. One minute they were working, the next, they were back in their eldritch forms. It was so strange to them! Every time they were defeated, Edan earned a god tear. After Leshy's defeat, he gained three and had six in total. Edan would give them to the entity and gain objects in exchange. He had given the being a name, Jaziel. They were still as mysterious as ever. Like Narinder said, they came to various gods and made deals with them. Leshy was one of them.

"I recall Leshy. Prior to yourself, he was the last to bargain with me. Adept as he was, he rose quickly to the challenges of Godhood, aided by his siblings. Many were drawn to his chaotic ways." They said.

Edan exchanged the god tears he had left remaining and at last gained one of the two necklaces he needed. Having two god tears left, Edan hoped to get the other. After those two tries, it was not to be... He would have to wait until he gained more in Anura. To officially open the door, a sacrifice was needed. Edan knew the perfect volunteer who was doing poorly in his reeducation. But that was for another day.

Any crusading to Anura had to wait. Edan sensed the teleportation stone acting up. After Jaziel disappeared once more, he hurried back and saw the stone was glowing. In no time at all, Edan could see two beings appear on it in a flash. Due to the brightness, Edan closed his eyes and opened them once the light faded. It took no time at all for him to see who it was.

"Ebany! Webber!" He cried out.

"Edan!" Ebany looked over once she heard her brother's voice. Rune beat  Ebany from hugging Edan as she ran up to him and tackled him. Edan caught the little pup and hugged her while being licked to no end. "Rune!!" Edan laughed. "I'm happy to see you too!"

Rune yipped and bark as her tail wagged fast enough to become a propeller. Ebany could help but smile as she and Webber stepped off the teleportation circle. Edan put Rune down and looked at Ebany and Webber. He couldn't help but smile as he hurried over to hug Ebany. Ebany gave him a big hug and wrapped her wings around him. Even if they exchanged letters with each other, it wasn't the same as meeting once again in person. Webber watched them. It was sweet, whether he disliked Edan or not.
