Three little fairies rested within flower beds as they were tired from flying so long. They hadn't found any sight of Zureth or their cat friends. They had actually known Moonpaw and Echoleaf since they were kits. Echoleaf had protected them from the other cats when she was a kitten. Moonpaw was always gentle with them. They only hoped and wished that their luck would change by the time they took fought again.

It was as if Queen Titania herself granted their wish when they saw a black scale, belonging to a naga. They came closer and found a cave. Hearing voices, they dawned the guise of flowers and remained hidden. The voices belong to Moonpaw and Zureth. Zureth brought her outside as a reward, but kept her on a tight leash, figuratively and literally. Moonpaw hated the collar around her neck and wanted to run free, but Zureth restricted that.

Zureth would slither back into the depths of his cave with his prisoner, unaware of the fairies' presence. The three fae shed their disguises and hurried away. They needed to find Benjamin and Ebany to tell them the good news! They found the snake and one of the cats! But they didn't see the other.

While Zureth's prisoner, Echoleaf had been forced to learn to walk by the naga. Zureth would take Echoleaf from their cell and shackle their wrists over their head. The chain allowed for moved so she could stand. Echoleaf hated the very notion of walking of two legs, but Zureth didn't stop until they learned to walk. That wasn't all... After a day when she was captured, Zureth would take Echoleaf while sedated to an operating room of sorts. There, he would run health exams on them. It was typical medical tests one would receive to a checkup, but Echoleaf would be restrained to a bed or chair.

Zureth was taking precautions that the spell he had casted did not damage his new pet. When Echoleaf was being especially uncooperative, he would either restrain them with his tail or hypnotize them. He needed to hypnotize them while drawing Echoleaf's blood and examining the rest of them. Echoleaf would wake up in their cell, happy to have blanked out on that. As for Moonpaw... she had injured herself trying to escape.

Before Echoleaf joined her, Moonpaw suffered a few injuries while escaping. She almost got away but was subjected to torture when caught. Zureth didn't want to be violent but felt like he had no choice while taming the wild cat. All Moonpaw was doing was acting like a compliant kittypet to lower the snake's guard. Her acting was quite good as it helped Echoleaf to sound desperate even after she figured out what her best friend was doing.

Echoleaf had picked the locks on their bonds thanks to their longer claws. Hands were useful for things after all! She kept quiet as Zureth returned with Moonpaw and locked her back up. He said to them that he would be right back and left. Echoleaf waited for him to leave so she could get to the door and unlock it. After about a minute, she managed to pick the lock and hurried to Moonpaw's cell to free her. Moonpaw kept a lookout for the snake while she did so, but neither expected what happened next.

Zureth had a feeling they would try to escape soon so he had placed various crystals that acted like security cameras to monitor them. The second that Echoleaf escaped their cell was the second that Zureth knew that they were escaping. Zureth moved in so quickly before Moonpaw could say anything and pinned Echoleaf down to the floor. Echoleaf felt something knock into them and she crashed to the floor. Echoleaf was dazed after being pinned down and didn't realize until she was bitten on the neck that it was Zureth! Echoleaf yelped in pain as she felt the venom paralyze their body. Zureth picked them up and hauled them over his shoulder. It was time for them to be punished.
