Ebany walked arm in arm with Heket as they approached where the doors to the other realms where. Why someone wanted her to go there, she didn't know yet. All she knew was how much they wanted her to come. They walked over the teleportation stone and walked to the edge. There were the four entrances that led to Darkwood, Anura, Anchordeep, and Silk Cradle.

There was one being that stood, or rather, floated in the center, waiting for Ebany...

... The Mystic Seller.

Ebany looked up and saw them. The Mystic Seller accompanied by two attendants behind them. At least... that's what they seemed to be. They were just as Edan described. A moon-shaped head, a flowing robe and cape that seemed to contain the entire universe within... Edan gave them the name, Jaziel when he made a deal with them. But why did they want her to come? She was no god, not was she related to any sort of god, at least, not by blood.

"You come at last, child of flames." The Mystic Seller recognized Heket next to her, already glaring at them. "We meet once more, She of Famine. Divine, you are no longer..." They seemed to wonder why she was even there.

"... What do you want with Ebany?" Heket asked the question on Ebany's mind.

"Merely to give her... a gift, She of Famine, for lack of a better word." They said.

"What gift? And why summon me? I'm not god and you only make deals with gods, do you not?" Ebany questioned.

"You are a bold one... just like someone who has made her choice. You are needed to help her return. She needs your assistance to cross over into this realm once more. You, the wielder of the Crimson Stone. Only you can do it." They said.

"Who...? Who needs help...?" Ebany asked... Who were they talking about...? She had a feeling deep down she might know who they were talking about.

"A being who out of love, gave her life away..." The Mystic Seller was being cryptic, but seemed amused when Heket realized who they were talking about.

"... Rose?" Heket's expression from from stern to slight shock.

"A phoenix is meant to remain alive for all eternity. A phoenix kin who wished to pass on may do so if they are past 500 years of age. For the one you call Rose, she has made the decision to return to the mortal plane. But... there a price to pay. What it will be is for fate to decide. It will be known once she is revived. The gift I will be bestowing upon you is her soul..." They said.

"Her soul..." Ebany knew where Rose's body was.

"The soul must be bonded to its body, but first, the soul must leave the realm of the dead to enter the living realm. This is where you come in, child of flames... only with your voice can you open the doors between the two places." They told her.

"So I have to sing..." Ebany said, holding her staff and looked at Heket. "Heket?"

Heket snapped out of her shock and looked at her, wondering if she heard correctly... "Rose wants to return...?"

"Seems like it... I always wondered if it were possible for her to do so... There have been other phoenix kin older than her who have passed on, but that happened years ago and in other places... Many dismissed them as legend... But Rose... she can come back, no, she wants to come back!" Ebany said, in shock and surprise herself. "You'll see your best friend again..."
