A dark wizard walked within his lair. With him was his newest partner, a wizard of fire that escaped from prison recently... he was in the mood to cause trouble, especially if it targeted his enemies. They were more close by than one might think. The two were researching portals. Specifically the types that would bring their intended targets straight to them. They had a relic that would help them, but they needed to find out how it worked. The fire wizard was trying to figure it out. He wanted revenge against his sister and her family. Especially her little girl... she'd pay for what she did years ago... Sending him to prison that is.

As for the other wizard, he wanted revenge on his former master and classmates. His enemies were those that lived in the Glistening Forest and the Enchanted Forest a few miles away. They didn't understand how the dark side of magic could be so powerful. They were cowardly fools to stay within the light. They didn't know just how much trouble they would start. It would cause problems for not only their intended targets but for others they don't even know or are affiliated with as well.

They were conjuring up a spell within a big pot. The cauldron held their concoction of black mystery goo. At least, that's what it looked like to the naked eye. In other words, it looked like slime. Whatever they were making would be revealed in time!

Edan sat at his desk, writing sermons with a tired expression. He was exhausted as of late. He didn't know if it was because he was legitimately tired or his body was changing again. All he wanted to do was sleep with Narinder and cuddle... Edan looked at his ocarina on the side of his desk. Since becoming a god, he hadn't played it in so long... even before his ascension now that he thought about it. Edan was still surprised he knew how to play it. It had probably months since the last time he played a little tune. He wasn't sure if he should play now or not...

"Cael?" Narinder's voice woke him from his voice. Cael looked over as saw his lover.

"Hi Nari..." Cael yawned after he finished talking.

"You seem quite tired. Have you rested properly?" Narinder walked over to him.

"Thanks to your help... I just feel really tired all of a sudden." Cael stretched his arms.

"You've spent two weeks going from and coming here from Ratau's place. I'm glad Feldoh had some sense in him to send you home." Narinder placed his paw on Cael's head and stroked his wool. He brought his paw to his forehead to check for a fever and any extra eyes. There was neither. "No fever, so you aren't getting sick."

"No... I don't know if it's a change or just plain tiredness..." Cael closed his eyes.

"How long until you finish?"

"Just gotta finish the sermon... I had an early start today." Cael yawned again.

"That's it. Off to bed with you." Narinder scooped him up.

"Eh?!" Edan looked at him with his face blushed red.

"You will be napping while I finish the sermon, and then, I will join you for that nap." Narinder stated clearly. "Is that clear are, my little lamb?"

"Um... yes, Narinder." Cael knew that he didn't have a choice when Narinder got like that.

"That's a good lamb." Narinder smirked and carried Cael to his bed and sat him down. He removed Cael's fleece and put it aside. The Red Crown would go with him until the sermon was done. "Sleep. I'll be back soon." Narinder kissed his head.
