Edan led his sister, her companions, and her friends headed into his Cult. They arrived in no time at all since he knew where to go. Many in the Cult were still awake and became curious when they saw newcomers with their leader.

"Huh? Who's that with the leader?"  A follower asked.

"Isn't that the relative he's talked about?" Another asked.

"There's a cute wolf with them!" One exclaimed.

"It seems I need to let them know about you all." Edan looked at Ebany. "I hope you don't mind, I know you don't like the attention."

"Está bien. It's fine. I'd rather they know than wonder the entire time." Ebany told him. "Just leave out the part about the Cult of War stuff, okay?" She whispered. Edan nodded, getting the picture. No need to mention that! Besides, best to get introductions out of the way.

"Everyone! Come here! I have an announcement!" Edan stepped forward, calling out to his followers. Everyone hurried over, telling others to come out from where they were. The followers all gathered where Edan was and waited for him to speak.

"I have spoken about my sister who I have not seen in some time. We were kept separated by the late Bishops of the Old Faith. In many of my crusades, I've hoped to find her each time, but it never happened... until now!" Edan held out his hand. "Everyone, this is my sister in arms, the one who protected me from the Bishops, Ebany Rose Phoenix!"

Ebany shyly waved to the followers. They all looked at her for a second before they cried out and cheered. They congratulated Edan on finding her at last. When it came to Feldoh and Webber... Edan raised his hand to silence the crowd.

"These are Feldoh and Webber. They are the friends Ebany made while traveling. Right now, they are tired and I will show them to where they can rest. We can continue with this matter tomorrow. Please continue with your business before I interrupted." Edan told them all. The followers dispersed with some coming to greet Ebany and the others. Ebany would greet and thank them for the welcome. Some of the ladies went up to Feldoh, having been taking by his rugged yet handsome appearance. The stag was flattered. He was never this popular with the ladies in the Cult of War!

The rest of the followers would pet Rune and fell in love with her instantly. Webber tried to hide from the crowd in Feldoh's chest. Thanks to Edan, they were able to escape the many followers and go to the houses. Edan showed Feldoh and Webber one of them, where they would stay. Feldoh thanked the lamb and went inside with Webber after bidding a good evening. Edan then led Ebany to the one for her.

"I had one made for you... I wanted you to have a place to live whenever you come to visit. I know you'll go home once Noonveil is safe." Edan looked at Ebany.

"Thank you..." Ebany smiled and patted his head. "I wished we could have gone to Noonveil straight away, but even then, the Bishops wouldn't have stopped hunting you. I still don't forgive them for that, even if they were good to me." She said to him.

"I know. You feel a connection to them because of your ancestor. Being a prisoner allowed that connection to grow. I'm just glad they never hurt you..." Edan looked at her. "Could we... Just for this time... sleep in the same place?" Edan asked shyly.

"Of course!" Ebany agreed. She missed snuggling with her little brother... "Besides, I have a long bedtime story to tell you!"

"Then by all means!" He opened the door to her house and showed her inside. Edan showed her every part of it. Ebany noted that it looked like her home back outside the village she lived in and that was the idea. Edan had a couple rooms prepared in case Ebany would bring a friend. Ebany thanked her little brother and hugged him. Rune was happy to see a bed for her and a little bed for Benjy. She licked and nuzzled Edan to no end until it was dinner time.
