At last it was time to go to Anura and face Heket. Narinder was well aware of the fact. He had grabbed Edan by his small horns and told him again to not show mercy. Edan told him that he wouldn't in battle. Heket's house was ready and equipped the way she would like it. Edan asked Leshy for help. In exchange, he wanter his rainbow rose from his temple. Since he had lost of his powers, the spell on the flower would most likely be broke. Edan made a quick run to Darkwood and got it for him. Leshy didn't really thank him but Edan didn't mind. Leshy snatched the rose in the glass case and went to his hut. Feeling around he placed it on a table that wasn't broken. It was safe with him even if he couldn't see it.

Edan had three god tears from facing the three acolytes. He would get three more after facing Heket. Hopefully he could get the other necklace he was looking for from Jaziel. Now that his quick errand for Leahy was finished, Edan would make his way to Anura to face Heket. The enemies he faced were stronger, but once again no match for his blade, war hammer, dagger, you name it. It wouldn't be long now. Edan continued his way, dreading every step and muttering how he hated having to do it. Yeah, he wasn't going to get over what the Bishops did anytime soon. If your kind was slaughter to stop a prophecy, would you forgive those who did it? At least not too soon or very easily!

Edan felt the repetitiveness of that topic. It always came up when referring to the Bishops. It often made him wonder if he would ever come to forgive them. Narinder was a different case. It wasn't about his kind, it had been over a misunderstanding. They were slowly making up. Narinder still acted like a tsundere, but seemed to eased up. The marking on Edan's neck said as much. Edan rubbed his neck on the side where Narinder marked him. His collar covered it up. Best to think about it later since he was getting close to the temple.

Edan entered just as he had done before. He walked down the hall where he would face the Bishop of Famine. The only thing he was glad they did was treat Ebany well. Sure, she was a prisoner, but they didn't treat her like one. He'll give them that. But anything else, no way, no how! Okay! Now to focus on battle because he was about to come across her ladyship! There was no surprise when Edan saw cultists surrounded Heket. She was beaten up like Leshy was. Part of her face was torn, and her throat and mouth bled ichor. Heket saw the lamb approach and her gaze narrowed as she glared daggers at him.

"Vile, sniveling puppet... I will destroy you again... and again..."

The battle began after the followers gave her lives to Heket and she turned into her eldritch form. Edan raised his weapon and went in for the fight. It was similar to the times he fought with her back then. The difference is that Heket came at him even more force than before. Her eldritch form was ripped and shredded in various places. One could see her flesh and bones as she hopped and bounced around. Heket would use her tongue to attack, as well as summon enemies to keep the lamb busy. Edan used curse after curse to lower her health. It was working.

Like with Leshy, Heket was soon defeated. Upon her defeat, she lost her eldritch form and gained a mortal one. Heket fell unceremoniously to the ground and coughed. She coughed up ichor, covering her mouth to stop. Edan looked at her after he had given the final blow. He walked to the frog or toad, he didn't remember which, but it didn't matter to him. Heket felt a familiar sensation that she dreaded... Hunger... An everlasting hunger.

".... feed me..." Heket spoke softer than a whisper. Without the Yellow Crown, speaking was nothing short of an impossible task. Every time she would speak a word, it would be a challenge and bring pain. Back when Narinder injured each of them, Heket considered herself lucky that she is as still able to talk. Edan stopped in front of her, making her look up. She still glared daggers at him. Edan said nothing but extended his hand to her.
