Aside from the prank incident, the rest of Ebany's visit went smoothly. While Webber was busy with Leshy, Edan would take Ebany to see Ratau. The rat was happy to see Ebany and they played a few rounds of knucklebones. Rune came along and got pets and treats. When they met up with Forneus, there was even more hugs and even more treats! Ebany would tell all her friends everything that happened in the past month. Noonveil was safe once more, Ebany started her apprenticeship, Webber was adjusting well and made several friends.

The day came to a close faster than they expected. Edan told her that Ebany's house was always there for her. Webber wanted to stay with his friends. Leshy did offer to house Webber but... where was his hut again? Tion helped him find it after he got lost again. Why was that cat so helpful to him?! Not only that, it turned out that he didn't have what Webber needed. He reluctantly agreed to let Feldoh take Webber for the night. Feldoh knew Leshy for a long time. Besides, he broke a bunch of dishes so he didn't mind as much. Feldoh always treated Leshy with respect. He and the former acolytes were the only ones Leshy got along with.

After some consideration, Edan informed Leshy that he once again had free reign of the camp. The reason for his confinement in the farms was because of the incident with Narinder. The catch was to behave himself as much as possible. Even if he did a poor job at washing the dishes, the lamb didn't want to keep him confined forever, even though it was so tempting. Leshy took advantage of his freedom to spook everyone while he burrowed. Narinder would grin when he saw the scratch still on his brother's head. They would go away but if Leshy needed a reminded to not mess with him, Narinder would gladly obliged.

That night, Edan decided to spend it with Ebany. He missed having her around. There were times that he wished that they could love together, in the Cult or in Noonveil. Not only that, but he would open the door to Anura. It was like history repeating itself again! Face three acolytes and then the Bishops. Edan was in agreement with Narinder that his siblings should be locked in eternal suffering forever, or at least a few lifetimes. But with Jaziel on the watch, Edan had a bad feeling of what might come if he stalled. Besides, he had the perfect sacrifice to use to open the door to Anura.

Edan waited for Ebany in her room. They would be sleeping together once more. Ebany normally liked her freedom in bed but sleeping with her little brother wasn't bad. She slept with her parents her first night back in Noonveil. Ebany would walk in after getting ready and got on the bed next to her brother. Rune trotted over and curled up on her puppy bed. With a yawn, she laid down to sleep. Benjy slept in his bed as well. He and Edan shared a hug when they met once again.

"Next time, I'll bring my friends. A few will be free by the time I visit again." Ebany told him.

"Which ones?" Edan asked.

"Hmm... I don't remember all, but I think J and Serenity were two of them. I don't want to overload the stone just in case. Well, Rose probably visited with her family so it should be okay..." Ebany explained to him.

Edan nodded and snuggled against her. Ebany hugged him and kisses his head. "My parents are looking forward to meeting you. I've written to them about you and told them the rest." Ebany stroked his head.

"They sound really nice from what you told me. They seem to like Webber too. Does he prank them?" Edan asked.

"Stuff that makes them laugh. As for the prank earlier today, I think that was meant with more malice because of well, you know." Ebany said.
