Disclaimer: I do not own Cult of the Lamb. I am simply a fan of the game. I was inspired by Jbrine061. Please check out her story. She is amazing. Now onto the story.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Narinder waited for the lamb to answer... why was he staying so quiet?!
Ebany looked at Edan. The choice was ultimately his...
"As I had said before... If I never met Ebany, I may not be the way I am now..." Edan looked at Narinder. "She taught me many things and expressed what I felt in her song. I won't kill you, Narinder, even if you deserve it or not. You will live within my Cult until you decide what you wish to do." Edan snapped his fingers, sending the cat to the Cult.
"You weak, snivelling, foul thing. You - wait! Waaaiiiiiiit!" Narinder cried as he was sent to the cult. The crucifixes lowered to the ground and released the followers and Webber. They ran to Edan and Ebany, celebrating around them. Webber hugged Ebany tightly. Edan couldn't help but smile as they returned to the Cult of the Lamb.
Narinder appeared on the indoctrinated stone where so many followers appeared before. Now that he was out of the gateway, he felt... strange... his limbs felt heavy, his body felt weak, and his vision blurred... what was happening?
Edan, Ebany, Webber, and the followers appeared on the teleportation stone back in the Cult. They were welcomed back by anxious followers who were worried that they had taken so long. Edan greeted his followers before going to the indoctrination stone. What he didn't expect to see was Narinder bleeding from his wrist and eyes!!
"What is the..." Edan ran over to the cat.
"What is... happening..." Narinder passed out before the lamb got to him all he could see was the lamb's blurry figure running to him until it all went black.
"Narinder!!" Edan cried out as he caught his former master. What happened?! Edan checked the damage and saw ichor bleeding from where the chains had been. Edan struggled to pick him up and called for a follower to assist him. Together they took him to the medical tent to see to his wounds. Did it happen during the fight? Is it a side effect or something from losing his divinity?
Ebany saw what happened and went to follow but almost collapsed herself! An elephant follower noticed quickly and caught her with his trunk. "Lady Ebany! Are you alright?!" He asked and helped her get steady.
"... I'll be fine... Can you help me to my house and let my brother know...? I used too much magic back there..." Ebany's vision blurred and spun. She wasn't used to using so much magic in such a powerful spell. The elephant nodded and helped her home. Webber followed them and would find Feldoh who scooped him up. The stag was worried sick after they suddenly disappeared! Webber would tell him everything he could. Feldoh stopped him and told him to wait until later.
Feldoh helped the elephant, known as Cornelius the chef, get Ebany inside and to her room. Benjy would take over once Ebany was inside. Benjamin helped his mistress lay down. The dizziness eased as she laid down. Her body wasn't used to handling such powerful magic. Cornelius and Feldoh would give the message to Kana about Ebany. Kana made a note to go check on Ebany. Right now, they were trying to stop the bleeding on the new patient. The leader insisted on doing it himself.
Edan cleaned the ichor and bandaged Narinder's wrists, neck, and anywhere else he bled. Narinder was unconscious through it all. Saleos helped him with the bandages until they were finished. All they needed was to wait for him to wake up. Saleos would make some medicine for Narinder to help him regain strength. Edan stared at the cat laying on the bed. He could now see the scars he had on his body, some trailing up his arms, a few on his legs, and there were probably more...
