"Have you lost your mind!! What the hell are you saying Taehyung? How can you say something like that about your own child, huh? Nothing like that happened.. you heard me nothing like that happen!" Jungkook roared, his blazing doe eyes glaring dead in Taehyung's teary eyes.
Absurd. Of course it was absurd. How dare Taehyung say something like that about their own baby? Was he even realizing he was talking about their baby?
Their baby.
The same baby he was saying they lost- No. It's a lie. Jungkook refused to believe it. He will not believe it for anything. Never. Taehyung must be lying. In fact Taehyung is lying.
But why would Taehyung lie about such a sensitive thing? Why would Taehyung even lie?
The thoughts made Jungkook's heart thunder violently in sudden anxiety. His legs trembled as he jerked a sharp breath. Was Taehyung telling the truth?
Jungkook shook his head vigorously, his eyes slowly but surely blurring with overwhelming tears. He was denying Taehyung's every word desperately until his eyes beheld Taehyung's eyes.
Those eyes were sore with pain, in sheer anguish and the raw grief shimmering in the form of tears falling uncontrollably.
"Y-you are lying r-right, hubby? I-i promise I will f-forgive you for pulling such a horrible p-prank but please s-say it's a lie... You are l-lying... N-nothing like that h-happened to us, mm." He nodded to himself as if he was consoling them both that everything was fine.
They were fine. Their baby was fine.
His shaking lips curved up while trembling hands cupping his husband's cheeks. He tilted his head, his eyes saddening witnessing how Taehyung's eyes produced more tears and continued to fall down one after another.
Taehyung choked on a sob as he shook his head timidly. "I-it's truth-"
He bit his lower lip when Jungkook pushed him away screaming.
"NO! Shut up! Stop with your nonsense already! How could it be true huh? When I didn't even feel it.. when I didn't feel my b-baby when I-i couldn't feel it i-inside.. how can it be t-true." Jungkook's voice cracked as he sobbed miserably.
His knees weakened, snatching his strength to stay steady in his place.
"Koo!" Taehyung held his husband closer to his chest before he could collapse on the floor.
Silent tears trailed down his eyes as he embraced his trembling husband protectively, numbly gazing at the sky. He felt extremely helpless. Oh how he wished only he could suffer from this pain but he can't. Jungkook has to suffer along with him. The same as him.
"N-no, it's not t-true! No.. I don't b-believe it. I didn't feel m-my baby for once.. I-i didn't feel my b-baby's presence. That's not p-possible. . You're are l-lying.. m-mom is lying. Nothing happened to my baby n-nothing." Jungkook babbled breathlessly, shaking his head hastily and desperately.
