Ms Jeon was humming a melody when she heard the main door opening and then right after closing sounds considering her son is back.
Her eyes widened and her lips curved up into a big smile. She hurriedly wiped her hands with the towel before dashing outside of the kitchen happily. She was extremely proud of her son.
She was always but today he achieved what he dreamt for. He got his dream job, that too in the top most company of Seoul. She prepared his favourite dishes for celebration because he deserves it. He deserves every bit of happiness.
"Kookie my baby congratula-" she didn't even finish her words when Jungkook threw himself in her embrace, trembling badly.
She stood there with widened eyes but instantly got a hold of herself when she felt her son shaking violently in her arms. She was getting worried by now but before she could say anything Jungkook cried out.
"M-mom he m-moved on…., h-he forgot m-me mom…." Jungkook's lips were quivering, tears were streaming down his doe eyes as he was holding onto his mom like there's no tomorrow.
He knows how he controlled himself from not breaking down then and there in front of taehyung. He knows how he reached home to his mom.
Jieun's eyes watered hearing her son's heart wrenching cries. She started stroking his back to calm him down.
"Kookie-"
"H-he never l-loved me mom… h-he n-never…. I-i was n-nothing to h-him…." Jungkook blubbered crying his heart out hiding his face in his mom's shoulder.
"Kookie baby what happened please tell mom and whom are you talking about." His mom asked desperately.
She just wants to know what made her son cry this much after so many years but jungkook's next words answered all her questions. Only one person can make him vulnerable and broken. That was none other than Kim Taehyung, her son's first and last boyfriend.
"T-tae he moved o-on…. He.. h-he also has a s-son…. He c-called him dada m-mom…. He a-always wanted o-our baby to c-call him dada b-but now… He promised m-me he will only l-love me…. h-how can he d-do this to m-me? How c-can he marry s-someone else.. he said h-he loved me right? T-then w-why mom?"
Jieun was crying by now with her son. Why god why? Why is it only them? First it was her who got betrayed by the person she loved the most who didn't even think twice before cheating on her and leaving her all alone with a five years old baby.
