Chapter 32

Once Anna stood next to Keith he made a lightning orb appear before throwing it in the air making the orb release lightning strikes around the area. One of the strikes hit something making the lightning hit the cliff.

Anna: Think it reacted to something?

Keith: Must of. It did disappear before hitting the cliff.

Anna made a mini wind tornado appear on her hand but when she threw it the tornado size increased moving around where the lightning strike hit to collect all the sand. Once the dust disappears they see a metal ring door on the floor.

Keith (while walking towards the metal door with Anna): What a big door.

Anna: Can't wait to see what we find inside.

Once they reached the door Anna summoned her gun to shoot four fire bullets having each one hit one of the four corners before they stepped on the other side to pull the handle. It took them a few seconds before the door decided to open.

(inside secret passage stairs)

Anna (having a fox fire near her while walking down): I'm surprised it's much cooler in here.

Keith (following from behind): Anna why did you shoot four bullets at the corners?

Anna: I thought it would be rusty so I used my gun to melt the four corners to weaken the rust before we tried pulling the handle. If I hadn't done that first, we might have spent all day finding out the problem.

Keith: Make sense. I wonder how long it's been since the last time that door was open.

After walking down a bit more Anna suddenly stepped on a shadow symbol that immediately glowed so bright they had to cover their eyes. However, when they opened their eyes they saw phantoms slowly appearing.

(phantom domain)

Keith (in Anna's mind while phantoms appear): Think this is a trap?

Anna (in Keith's mind): I'm not sure.

Keith (summoning his lance after the last phantom appears): It's best to be prepared just in case.

Leader of the phantoms: Please put your weapon away. We're not your enemy.

Keith: Can you at least tell us why a phantom would protect their enemies instead of fighting with Sosuke?

Anna (look at Keith): Keith.

Sabrina (while appearing on the side between Anna and Keith): That's because I asked them.

Anna: Sabrina what's your connection with the phantoms?

Sabrina (looks at Anna): There my friends. I met them after entering this domain while exploring my home when I was a child. They helped me get back to my home and ever since that day, I was able to see them.

Leader of the phantoms: Lady Sabrina where have you been? We've been looking for you for so long.

Sabrina (look at the phantom): Sorry for not telling you but I decided to end my life being tired of the war. (look at Anna) However, my soul didn't fade away because it was taken with my eyes but now (touch Anna's shoulder) I serve this lady.

Anna (shock): Serve! When did we form a contract?

Sabrina: It's not a contract. I'm just helping out my friend.

Anna: Keith put your weapon away.

Keith (while his weapon disappears): Fine.

Sabrina (standing next to Keith while Anna walks forward): You're not even going to question Anna?

Keith: In the short amount of time I have known Anna. I know when she's going to do something very stupid or do something no one ever thought of doing.

Sabrina: I'm happy we see the same thing.

Keith: This makes things easier when we have to talk in private.

Sabrina: True.

(near group of phantoms)

Anna: Leader of the phantoms I have a request.

Leader of the phantoms: What could it be half-breed?

Anna: I want us to be allies.

Leader of the phantoms: Why? We only met and you're not even going to ask more questions?

Anna: That's because your Sabrina friends and you were kind enough to protect two strangers. However, I know you only save us because I have Sabrina's soul.

Sabrina (shock): Is that true?

Leader of the phantoms (look at Sabrina): It is Lady Sabrina. (after looking at Anna) Half-breed if I agree what would you make us do?

Anna: Only to keep an eye on the shadow realm and report anything you find. However, I'll understand if you're unable to do that but this doesn't mean we're enemies.

Leader of the phantoms (look at Keith): Demon is this half-breed speaking the truth?

Keith: My friend's words are never a lie.

Leader of the phantoms: Very well half-breed. I agree to become your ally and fight against the Shadow King.

Anna (surprise): You sure?

Leader of the phantoms: I am. So what shall I call you leader?

Anna: You may call me...

Sabrina (touches Anna's shoulder while she and Keith stand next to her): You will call her Lady Anna and you call my other friend Lord Keith.

Leader of the phantoms: I understand milady.

Anna (look at Sabrina): Isn't that a bit extra?

Sabrina (after sighing): I'll explain later.

Anna (in Sabrina's mind): Just don't forget.

Keith: What's your name phantom?

Leader of the phantoms: I don't have a name.

Anna: Then how about the name Yurei?

Leader of the phantoms: Why did you give me that name?
