Chapter 19

When Keith jumped away once he pulled his lance out multiple fire arrows fell from the sky hitting different parts of the monster's body.

Soidler (helping injured soldiers stand while watching the arrows fall): Is that attack from the first lieutenant?

Keith (after landing): You're late.

Anna (while floating down from the sky to land next to Keith): Sorry. Someone suddenly called me at the wrong time.

Keith (once Anna landed): Was it the boss?

Anna (holding her hand out making a wind barrier appear to block the minotaur attack): Yeah annoyingly. (holding the barrier up while feeling the monster attack) However, you should get going.

Keith (turns around after touching Anna's shoulder): Let's move boys.

Minotaur (see the squad ran away with Keith while Anna's barrier disappeared): Humans are such cowards.

Anna (after making a tree hit the minotaur pushing it to the side): I'm still here.

Minotaur (Anna unsheaths her one sword at the same time her other sword flies to her hand): You think just one person can hold (raise his axe) their own against me?

A shadow orb suddenly appears above the minatour weapon making Anna and Keith sense a huge amount of magic. The orb released multiple shadow spikes that spread to the whole area making Anna put up her wind barrier again.

Anna (in her mind while the minotaur attack lands): Please be close to the tower.

(far away inside a lightning barrier)

Soldier (looks at Keith): Thank you, second lieutenant.

Keith (holding one hand out while still holding his lance): We got lucky (in pain while the attack stopped) this time.

Soldier two (when Keith leans on his lance after stabbing it on the ground): Do you need any help?

Keith (look to his side): Sorry about that. I almost blacked out.

Soldier three (while Keith stands properly): A human would have passed out from that. Demons are so powerful.

Keith (starts walking while the squad follows): Humans are strong in their own way. So don't forget. (in his mind) I need to hurry back to help Anna.

(ahead)

While fighting with the minotaur Anna blocked a lot of its attack before countering with her own attacks. However, when she just used her swords to black a horizontal slash Anna heard a crack before being sent flying into a nearby tree. After hitting the tree Anna opens one of his eyes in time to dodge the monster's second attack.

Minotaur (see Anna stand): You should just give up. Your weak weapons are going to break soon. (after wearing Anna laughs a bit) What's so funny?

Anna (eyes glow covering her body in aura changing into her demon eyes form): You're so dumb. (look at the minotaur while her aura disappears from her body) My blades have cracks because I'm pushing (black demon wings with baby pink inside appear) them to their limits with my magic.

Minotaur (blocks Anna's attack after she charges forward): What are you? I know humans can't transform.

Anna (landed after she threw one of her swords to hit the monster's left eye when she got pushed away): You don't need to worry about that. (in her mind while running to the minotaur) If I must I'll use that second form that no one has ever seen.

(outside tower)

Lilly (while the last three soldiers enter): You sense that too?

Keith: She transformed.

Lilly (holding an earpiece mic in front of Keith): I know you don't need this but it's best to stay in contact with me but I need you to hurry back.

Keith: Why?

Lilly: It's hard to explain but my guts are telling me Anna's fight won't last long.

Keith (taking earpiece): I'll get there as soon as possible.

(ahead)

Anna and the minotaur's attack kept clashing making it hard for them both to land a single hit but when the minotaur just unleashed a diagonal slash Anna jumped back landing on one foot before quickly flying around the monster to cut its left arm off from behind. However, the minotaur turns around to kick Anna away but after getting hit Anna recovers by doing a back flip to land.

Minotaur (after Anna stops sliding backwards): I underestimated you human.

Anna (in her mind sensing the minotaur aura rise while seeing the axe being covered in shadow aura): So you're going to finish this fight off. Not on my watch.

Keith (stops at a nearby tree after a symbol appears underneath Anna): Anna!

Anna (in Keith's mind while her symbol glows changing from red to baby pink): Make sure you tell no one about what you're about to see. Even Jack and Lilly don't know.

Once the minotaur axe turned into an assault rifle it pointed its gun towards Anna before firing a shadow beam. However, Anna suddenly disappears making a strong force of wind release making Keith close his eyes but when he opens them he sees Anna behind the monster watching it fall while noticing a dent where Anna was standing.

Unknown girl's voice (in Anna's mind while the wind blows): Don't forget that if you use that other form the progress of your change will increase.

Anna (in her mind having her head turn a bit having white hair and baby pink eyes with sharp pupils while her sword blades fall apart): This is the first time using this form.

Anna soon went on one knee to cough out a bit of blood after covering her mouth. However, someone from the shadows throws three slime swords at Anna but Keith appears in time to teleport both of them a few steps away to dodge the attack.

Keith (having his hand on Anna's shoulder after appearing): You alright?

Anna (while her hair and eyes return to normal): Yeah. (in her mind) As I thought that form put a huge toll on my body.

Unknown boy's voice (sitting on top of a tall rock): You haven't changed Keith.

Keith (look at the direction of the voice): Is that you Sosuke?

Anna (in her mind): Do they know each other?

Sosuke (unknown boy): So you still remember me after all this time? (landing into the light after jumping off) I thought you had forgotten who I was.

Sosuke has grey shoulder-length hair, pointed ears, short claw nails and elf-green eyes. He's wearing a black hanfu dress but the bottom half is ripped being elf green with no sleeves, elf green rope that's tied to the side and a split in the middle of the skirt. Long black gloves that hook around his middle finger but the bottom half is elf green, black trousers and elf green plimsols.

Anna: Keith who's this person?
