(sunset Anna room)

Keith (just sits down on a chair after putting a wet cloth on Anna's forehead): We're lucky her fever didn't rise.

Sarbina (in Keith's mind): When she transformed I put a faint fire aura on her by using my own magic.

Keith (while crossing his legs): So in spirit form you're able to support Anna?

Satbina: I can but I want her to survive without my help. However, I'll step in when I have to like what I've been doing.

Keith (smiling): I see.

Yurei (while appearing on Keith's side): Lord Keith...

Soldier (after knocking): Excuse me.

Keith (while standing): Was you about to warn me?

Yurei: Yes.

Keith (in his mind while walking to the door): Why would they come at this hour?

(hallway)

Keith (after opening the door): Please keep it down my friend sleeping.

Soldier: Sorry sir but the captain wishes to speak with you.

Keith (in his mind): Thought so. (while closing the door behind him) Very well but can I ask you to do me a favour?

Soldier: What could it be?

Keith: Make sure no one enters this room.

Soldier (saluting): Understood sir. (before starting walking) Please follow me.

Keith (in his mind while following the soldier): I leave Anna to you two but call me if anything happens.

Yurei and Sabrina (in Keith's mind): Will do.

(Yoruichi office)

Yoruichi (at her desk putting her pen down after hearing a knock): Yes.

Soldier (outside door): I brought him.

Yoruichi: Enter. (watch Keith walk in once the door opens) Sorry for calling you here.

Keith (while the door close behind him): To be honest I had a feeling you would call us to your office.

Yoruichi: How's Lieutenant Anna?

Keith: She's sleeping right now. The fight tired her out.

Yoruichi: I'm happy she helped but I don't want a sick person to fight. Especially in her condition.

Keith: So Yoruichi what do you want to know?

Yoruichi: What are you hiding?

Keith: Do you promise to keep what I'm going to tell you to yourself?

Yoruichi: Every captains and generals know Anna's red eyes give her a rare ability but never got the details.

Keith: Those eyes belong to a vampire cat demon. The ability Anna obtained was to change forms in battle.

Yoruichi: So what we saw from the glow was her other form?

Keith: That's right. However, during the invasion, Anna changed becoming a half-demon regaining her original eyes but having cat ears. When she uses the demon eyes Anna still changes into that form fusing her half-demon side and vampire side together.

Yoruichi: So the cat ears represent the cat side while the red eyes represent the vampire side?

Keith: That's right.

Yoruichi: Then where is the human side?

Keith: It's her abilities. Anna has half the power of the demon race making her stronger than humans while being weaker than pure-blood demons. Once we decided what we were doing after the base was destroyed Anna wanted to keep this secret.

Yoruichi: I'm surprised that's even possible. Would it be okay if I told the other captains what we just talked about?

Keith: I can't answer that. I would like to ask you to wait and talk about that with Anna.

Yoruichi: I understand. (looking at the time) I kept you here longer than I thought.

Keith: If that's all then may I leave?

Yoruichi: Of course you can. (in her mind looking at her window when she turned her chair a bit after Keith left) Even though long ago we were enemies it's surprising to see a demon caring so much about a human. I would have asked him why he stayed by Lieutenant Anna's side but I have no right to ask that question.

(midnight Anna's room)

Anna (in her mind after opening her eyes while in a bed without her shoes on): I'm back in my room. (cloth falls off after sitting up) I must have passed out from using that combined attack. (grab her threat once her eyes turn red) Not now.

Keith (running to Anna wearing his pyjamas after opening the door): Anna. (next to her bed) Deep breathes. (while seeing Anna let go of her neck) Good girl.

Anna (look at Keith): Please can I have some?

Without saying anything Keith sat next to Anna giving his arm to her before she took a bite to drink his blood soonly returning her eyes back to normal.

Keith (while Anna let go of his arm): Feeling better?

Anna: Yes. (look to the side a bit) I'm sorry that you had to see me in that state.

Keith: You hold back the sudden thurst but you just woke up so there's no need to apologise. However, holding your breath might make it worse.

Anna (after sighing): I'll try not to.

Keith (touches Anna's forehead): Looks like your fever went away but I want you to stay in bed to recover your strength.

Anna: Alright. (notice after looking at Keith) When did you change clothes?

Keith: Not too long ago. After speaking with Yoruichi I wanted to take a walk to think of a few things.

Anna: What do you talk about?

Keith: About you and the secret. However, after asking an important question I ask her to wait until your better.

Anna: I might know what it could be.
