Chapter 64

Anna (after Yoruichi hugged her when she turned around): Nice to see you again Yoruichi.

Yoruichi: How have you been?

Keith: We've been good.

Yoruichi (look at David): Thanks for giving them a lift.

David: It's fine. We're all on the same side.

Yoruichi: Right. No matter what happens we're alliaces Anna.

Anna (smiling): Thank you for saying that.

Yoruichi (after noticing): I can tell something changed but I can't wait for the big reveal.

Anna: You trust me so much without even knowing what I'm going to do today.

David: We both agree that you're going to try to have the humans allow you to join forces in your new appearance.

Keith (after Anna look at him): No I didn't say anything.

Yoruichi: Then we should get going before the other two captains get mad at us for being late.

Anna: Right.

(meeting room)

Makoto (sitting around the table next to Renji seeing the others enter): Yoruichi, David why are you with two unwanted people?

David (while they sit at their seat): I was ordered by the general to bring them here.

Renji: We don't need demons listening to our meeting. They could be tricking you.

Yoruichi: Are you serious? They have been fighting on our side. Anna became a pure demon to get stronger to beat the Shadow King for our sake.

Keith (in Anna's mind while standing behind her chair): They don't want us here.

Anna (in Keith's mind): Maybe it's because they're mad at me for throwing away my human blood.

Makoto stepped on the table and walked across before kneeling in front of Anna pointing a gun at her forehead.

Anna (when a katana slowly appears behind his hand): Don't.

Keith (at the same time the katana disappears): But...

Anna (interrupting): Leave it to me.

Keith: Fine.

Makoto: What? You're not going to attack?

Yoruichi (standing): Makoto!

Anna: There's no need to. We're not enemies.

Makoto: Why are you wearing that hat? Are you hiding something from us?

Anna (look at Makoto with one eye showing): What do you think?

Makoto: Don't test my patience or I will shoot you.

General (after entering): What's going on here?

Makoto (while putting his gun away): Nothing but your late General Yukimaru.

Yukimaru (general (Makoto walks away while Anna looks to the opposite side)): Get your butt to your seat before we start the meeting.

Makoto (while sitting at his seat): Well if you didn't take forever I wouldn't be bored.

Yukimaru (walking towards Anna's side while Yoruichi sits down): That's because I'm a busy person don't forget. (whispering while slowly walking past Anna) It's nice to see you alive and well Anna.

Keith (in Anna's mind): What's wrong?

Anna (in Keith's mind): I can't look at General Yukimaru since he and Shoto were the ones who took care of me before moving to Jack's base with Shoto.

Keith: I see.

Yoruichi (looks at Keith while Yukimaru sits down at his seat): Why not sit Keith?

Keith: You'll understand soon.

Renji (looks at Yukimaru): Why did you invite them to this meeting general? Do you know this is between humans and shadow creatures that don't involve demons?

Yukimaru: We need Lieutenant Anna and Second Lieutenant Keith's help. So what if Anna became a pure-blood demon I'm still her guardian. (look at Anna) So you can remove your hat. Let me see your new look.

Anna (after sighing): Very well.

Makoto (standing after everyone sees Anna's cat ears when she removes her hat): This isn't any normal pure demon aura.

Renji (while Anna's hat disappears): Explain yourself. You said you'll be different than a half-demon.

Anna: That's right I'm no ordinary pure demon. (eyes glow red for a second after her wings appear) I became the Vampire Queen. Ruler of the vampire world that was given to me.

Renji: That's impossible. How could you be two different breeds of a demon?

Yoruichi (look at Anna): Anna what was you before? I know you didn't have this type of aura.

Anna (wing disappears having her eyes normal): I was just a human with half-cat demon DNA.

Yukimaru: So your human side was replaced with the demon eyes vampire blood?

Anna: Yes but due to the promise I made I can't say how that happened.

Sabrina (in her mind while standing behind Keith hiding her presence in spirit form): Anna.

Yukimaru: I understand.

Suddenly they heard a gunshot but Keith unleashed a quick slash immediately destroying the bullet before reaching Anna's face.

Yukimaru (look at Makoto): Makoto!

Makoto (holding his gun while everyone sees Keith holding his katana): You traitor! (after feeling like he's unable to move) What's the meaning of this?

Anna (while her eyes glow red): Listen. As the Vampire Queen I'm here to have a conversation with your leader and the people who protect the separate lands. I'm not here to start a war.

Renji: Who wants to become allies with a royal demon who once was human?

David (and Yoruichi stand): We became Anna allies and this is our own decision.

Anna (while her eyes stop glowing): If you don't think I'm worthy of your time then let's fight.
